tbo I don't think it's fair to link the price of the X5 with the MM, the MM is the ultimate 'normal' handgun with far superior economy and will always carry a premium over the X5 and similar unlimited handguns.

atm i guess the only competitor to the x5 is the hl18 but there's plenty of other L guns that could possibly drop such as the HL20, H49 and if the BL1450 or XT ever appear in U format then the x5 is going to look like just a good gun and not the best in it's class.

I know the number of x5 drops shouldn't have too much of an effect on the price, after all there's more MM than x5 and that hasn't hurt their price. But it's peoples perception of future drops that will hold back the price on this gun, not the actual number available now.

175k for the cautious rising to 225k for those thinking drop rates will slow down soon - u just gotta find one of the less cautious buyers

Well price will always depend on who has the cash to pony up for such and item. I would base the price on the last one sold and then go from there depending on the demand it could go higher or lower.

Skippie is so used to big numbers he types the "k" behind any number by default.

Filling a 10 ped chip with BLP skill is definitely possible if you do a hardcore hunt and blast away ammo.

Personally, it wouldn't take a sick amount of chipping for me to max the X5. At which point, appropriately amped, it'd be both higher dmg/sec and more economical than Mod Merc for me. However, if I had the cash, I think I'd still pay more for Mod Merc.
