Unl X5 In Today's Market

Hi guys,

Syri, John, DoctorH, Lhava and myself were fortunate enough to loot what we believe is the fifth Unl Emik X5 in game the other night in our 31k Aurli Strong.

we are about to put the weapon on sale, and wonder where the price sits in today's current market.

i received this recently from one current owner:

as i posted in trader, i'm not in rush with sale and i have few month... i will be honest to you, right now this treader is for catching idiots with a lot of peds... i'm aiming on 450 - 500k for this package, unreal ? maybe, but with this price rice i think i will get those peds after ~2-3 month and that is time when i'm planing to quit EU.

at least one owner believes his gun is worth 400k+. we don't believe ours is. however, when there was only one x5 in game, ppl said it was a 250k gun. MM was selling for ~200k at the time, so the perception at the time was that the x5 was worth more.

at some point this summer they were selling for 200-230k. MM was selling for 250k. so the MM price eclipsed the x5 price.

each gun has its advantages and disadvantages. and anybody that's ever shot both understands they are not the same. to some MM is preferable. to some x5 is.

so the question:

now that MM is selling for 300k and being offered for 330k, what is the x5 worth in today's current market? what is realistic and what should be asked, in terms of a start bid and buyout to ensure that the 5 ppl that looted this gun get the most they can to improve their respective games?

I'd say MM - 50k is a safe startbid , however I say keep it , play with it a little and wait until the winter buying frenzy starts

initially that's been our thought, kygon. one, that 250k was probably a pretty safe bet as a start bid, someone would easily pay it. and that two, the less rushed we are to sell it the better offer we will see. we certainly are having no problems taking down aurli in our current setups.

tt on the weapon looted btw at 19.5k. i've beat that down to 19k in about a day and a half, looting 10 ped tt of blp skill in the process. i believe an unl x5 is purchased by MM buyers that are impatient and do not have the gumption to wait sometimes up to months to buy one or by ppl that do not wish to chip 300k to use a 300k gun.

at least two current owners that i know of: muc and buzz lightyear, their decisions to go with an unl x5 were mainly skill related, i believe. as buzz said to me, he had no wish to chip the level needed to use a MM, that the unl x5 was a dream for a guy like him that wanted to hunt at a high level but make a very small hunting skills investment there instead of a large one. he is afterall, a crafter.

and yes, as i look at the 97k in handgun i need to max my MM and the 146k of damage skills needed to max damage, i find the x5 tempting to say the least.

Its a very nice gun imo id say a start bid of around 200k would be a nice place to get things going. gratz on your loot too

I'd be interested in this gun way before a MM, again im a carbine user that almost maxed out the old UL ones and moving to MM would kill my eco but UL X5 I can max the L version

sadly my days of being able to drop 250k on a weapon are long gone (engaged, living with GF and multiple mortgages in dodgy financial times lol )
