I agree with Dreicc. A pking armor gets very few hits, as most real pking battles are resolved in 30-45 secs (unless two modfapped, eoned, 300HPed avatars are involved
). Therefore the markup on a L pking armor is much much less significant than for instance on a hunting armor. The only problem I see is that the design of the new armors just sucks ![]() Take care, BB |

Had a nice run-in with an upper level soc the other night, was outnumbered 8-1. In ~ 10 minutes of fighting, my eon decayed 95+ ped. At that rate, infiltrator would last a couple hours at LG or in any other pk situation tops?
I think 100-110 is fair ballpark. Yes I'm an owner; No I will never sell it, so this pricecheck doesn't really affect me in one way or the other, but I feel people should be informed when they make such statements as the ones posted above |

I have to agree that high level non L armours will always retain a high value, I used martial + 5b solo on eonmons it decayed approx 20ped on each part and that was only on approx 30 mobs
right after that I started wanting a set of shadow again ![]() |

And then you have to revive, TP back, etc. How many hits in total can you get before the battle is over? Say you die 20 times, that would be 80 hits in about 60 mins during a very intense battle (during which you just shoot, shoot, die, revive, heal and TP back without having to look for your target). On Eon that would be 10 peds decay including plates. You would probably spend about 10 times as much in ammo and weapon decay over the same timeframe. On Infiltrator (L) at 600% that would be 60 peds. So total cost for 60 mins of frantic pking for a high level but non uber player would be 160 peds with L armor vs. 110 with Eon. In your case, the problem is simply that you don't die. And you continue to get hit and heal back. From your information above, you were hit almost 800 times during that battle to get 95 peds decay. I'm pretty sure that was a bit longer than 10 mins (time flies when you fight, doesn't it?), but it shows that a non-dieing uber player can get 10 times as many hits as a normal high level one during a battle. The same 60 min battle which costs a normal player 60 peds in L armor decay, would cost you 250+ peds with Eon and 1500 peds with an equivalent L armor. All in all, the decay on my Shadow is rarely an issue when I fight someone with modfap. Mind essence is usually a more significant expense ![]() Take care, BBB |
