I basicly live in there and have no problem with fps.
I run with roughly between 70 and 90 fps inside pvp4 most of the time. When a GD is near or alot of mobs it can go down to 50 though. But 50 FPS is still alot more than I got when playing in the ring in twin. On some occations I do feel the problem abit though. Dont know why or what causes it, but sometimes it can get abit laggy. |

hmm weird.. I never experience any lag when entering other pvp areas on eudoria, when I enter pvp4 however = laggy .. drop in framerates as well. Must be something with the GFX-card. The textures to be loaded in pvp4 (and all around Akmuul) might be heavier (more detailed grass, flowers etc).
The only solution for me is to put down terrain and avatar quality to minimum before entering pvp4... What GFX - card are you using? ... regards BB |

It's because of the GRASS. I am able to play perfectly fine with no lag everywhere, even at the rig, and twin peaks (not the ring though). But when I enter PVP4 it's lagging like crazy. I know it has to be the grass, because whenever I go outside of it the lag goes away. I guess I have to buy a new graphic card to do pvp4, but it sucks when everything else works fine.

![]() same thing happens at new swiss, one thing that can help a bit is to disable wind in options. That way the grass stop "dancing" and helps a lot to bring lag down. |

Strange, as in Real Life "Weed" causes a similar "time dilation" effect (so I have been told). |

Ok.
The advise to disable "wind effects" seems to be good. I disabled them. I ventured into PVP4. I did not meet any GD's, but I did not lagg down on entry, as I normally do. So it seem MA equip PVP4 with a "frame rate dependant on PC" system> "lag weed." (wind effects) It was only a brief test (like ten mins) before a Mulmac (spelling) splatted me (I was armour less, and not looking to hunt, just testing frame-rates.) A question though... Normally when I get a gun out with a scope on , and use the scope, I can see better. In PVP areas the reverse seems to be true? The scope becomes a "blind fold". What gives? (got screen shots if needed.) |
