There is another way to! Get to know people in the game. If you are friends with someone in a society and then one day you are at the rig and someone from that society PK's you then you could pm your buddy and say heeyyy your soc m8 is blasting me at the rig >_<! can you ask him to stop pls? :P and maybe they will I am not saying go and befriend people tbough but these things take time.

In fact, 'time' is probably a better answer to this. In time you will gain skills, gain friends, gain equipment and gain respect.

for instance. go and find Sir SIBUK ingame and radiate him with a scanner for a while. as he likes those waves, you'll might gain one rep skill

Buy a decent outfit, anything but orange is fine. A good line is also helpful when you enter the rig-zone, but it might also kill you depending on your reputation. It usually takes some time to get known in the rig-zone, especially if you don't have any good equipment. But it can be done, if you enter the zone at the right time, and meet the right people.

I show up in my undies all the time at the rig

But really its part of a growing phase, even I was noob just 3+ years ago and I was target practice… a lot has changed since then I do admit.



Having good friends also helps a lot too.

Hheheh remembers a time when I was semi skilled and had 10 people bothering me at the rig one day.

I gave Skalman a pm and he came all the way down from cp and we kicked there asses for hours, till they gave up and did not come back

Your skills your friends, how nice you will all are factors latter on.

Especially your reputation that is!

Of course killing a AOA / Artox Prowler Naked, is always a good start to gaining respect at the rig

Ive been to the rig and loads of people are great peeps
I made friends with a Load of members from Dragons Shadow and we waged war on Supramacy that was fun but We all got owned by CC (CC dont like me ) and I was there when everyone got pwned by an atrox cos everyone run outta ammo and the only person with ammo had left to go on a hunt.....
But making friends With Gunzy, Magam And others is really cool, not cos they will own u if u step onto rig land but because They are really great peeps, dont try and befriend someone for something theyve got then throw them aside, make friends and never break em
But yea, friends at Rig = good
( they can be evil sometimes and control rig but its all fun)
