Yeah, this is what many don't understand at first... a lot happens in the time it takes to get back, and a lot may be happening when you do .. someone who is engaged in battle with multiple opponents can't take the time to check ID. To the person being shot, it's an important thing, to the shooter, it's more likely just another potential threat eliminated as fast as possible.

Yep, that's the way it goes. Even Swaze eventually loses enthusiasm for the kill, unless someone has pissed him off, in which case all bets are off

why even go? its boring as hell and takes forever to get there- the 2 times I went I was hoping to at least see some interesting weapons in use. 40 min one time 30 min the second. Didn't get shot, didn't see any uber-trox warfare either, I did talk to a couple of cool ppl but you can meet them anywhere in EU.

I, as others have concurred, tend to take someone out once and leave them. If they attack me, I take em out again and again etc.

If I get killed in the middle of a pK streak, I will take everyone out again.

If I'm there for oil, I'll ask you to wait on the walls.

hey Jpearson i can vouch for CC he is a realy nice guy and dont hold grudges,there are only a few peeps ingame who we dont like and they know who they are.
Myself i see the rig as my home now and magam is my virtual brother:P

SRHQ and SR in my opinion spend more time at the rig than anyother soc,i met all my best mates at the rig(gunzy,cc,Baron,Lee Bowles,Magam.shadowsong,Mike,Mad mike,Recoda,Rolx hell the list goes on and on
The rig is the best place ingame i reckon,if your new yeah you will die a lot(hell i die all the time)but if you are persistent and posseses a good sense of humour you will succeed in making a life for your self there.Listen to Shadowsong hes now a member of SR and doing great.
PVP is in my blood.I think the rig has it all PK a bit of hunting and most importantly we all have a good laugh and a giggle with "lotts of Cuddles"

As I see it there is no real hope you can go to rig and not get PK'ed as a newb, but then again isn't this what in the end will make you proud when the day comes that you can go there and shot back and survive ? No game is a fair game, takes time and practice and that is what makes it fun when you stop up and realize that you improved and can do more things and also survive more

So only advice is hang in there and with time it will come and you will feel proud you made it that far

Who cares? The fun thing to be a noob in the rig is trying to get the oil when the ubers are not seeing.

Its PvP dude, kill or be killed.

Respect? Theres alot of ways to get respect, much of them outside of the rig.

Thinking in this just remember, it has been about 2 years since I dont go to the rig.
The last time I pass there a few months were away from the middle since I was mining.

But I remember having a great time there.
