Infiltrator and other (L) armor

As many know by now, I'm into mining PVP4. And I am looking to the future. When my budget allows, I want to upgrade my armor to give me a bit more of a fighting chance in PVP. Right now, my usual tactic is to TP as soon as I see a green dot (unless I've had a couple beers, then I'm braver )

Right now I use Vigi +6A's, but That isn't enough against most PK'ers. Infiltrator looks like a good armor for PVP, but I worry that it will cost a lot to use. I have no experience with (L) armor, so I'm wondering how long a suit of Infiltrator would last me. And would it be worth it?

Maybe it would be better to upgrade my FAP or weapon?

Hello,

Assuming you will only use infiltrator in PVP4 against PKer, i could say that the armor will stay for a long time... maybe one year.
I personnaly try my solir armor (good S/C/I protection) against trox old alpha, prowler, ambu prov to dominants, formidon, formica etc... i use it for nearly 2 month now (not all the day of course) and the harness is only half damage and the others part are less damage than that.
So if it's only to protect PKer, you'll take way less dmg than i received in hunting ... so i'm pretty sure that it will take you a very long time to fully dmg the harness!

* If you want fight - you need a good health level, dodge and big gun If you have 100-130hp, Infiltrator can not help you, because new powerfull gun do up to 45 dmg on Infiltrator... This can only extend your agony

polaris is also a cheaper option, altho if you get hit by a burn weapon your still screwed, but DOA ML and almost all BLPs wont hurt very much

Been using my infiltrator/7a plates for over 3 month now to dig in pvp4(peacefull miner only), after countless battles, only lost few due to fap malfunction(1), crits and just plain stupidity on my part, full set decayed about 50 peds (from almost 1k tt). Its a good feelling when you can pk a guy in full eon who attacked you with foeripper(naturally you should also stack up with good fap and high power gun). Most battles will not last long enough to decay armor significantly, but i've had a record of almost 6 min fight with a person most of us know. I do not advocate violence and those who met me in pvp know that i always ask for peace first(so if you do see me in pvp4 just say peace and we part our ways on friendly terms). i guess all my hangover morning ramblings lead to - i love the set and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to avoid pkers while digging for fortune in pvp1/2/3/4

And the great thing about Infiltrator and other L armours is that they keep the same protection, no matter how badly treated they've been!

I soooo want a set or two so I can become an Ubah PK'er...

am abit drunk and maybe shouldnt be sayin this but in all honesty if i see someone in infiltrator or hermes i dont bother to try an pk them as i assume they r another pker and are empty..... therefore not worth the cost of killing them.
if i didnt already own eon/shadow i would deffo buy a set of infiltrator/hermes and i bet it would rarely be put to the test

but when u run into real ubers eg. skalman, neomaven or star theres no armour ingame that can save you
