Animal hide in a enmatter refiner?

Ok, so this incredibly nice person (don't know if I'm allowed to name her or not) gave me 14PEDs worth of stuff, some of it in the form of animal hide. How do I refine it? It goes in an CHIKARA ENMATTER REFINER but needs another material. What is this other material? I'm not lieing. It doesn't go in the ore refiner though. Any ideas?

You need the tailoring refiner from the TT to turn it into leather.

I believe it goes in to the enmatter refiner because it is potentially a DNA ingredient.

You need the tailoring refiner, can't remember the name but it's in the TT.

The reason the animal hide will also fit into the enmatter refiner is because it's used as a part in some DNA (you refine DNA with the enmatter refiner, for some reason).
