Warning..... Do not lend Robullo Esposito Robnap any items at this time as I believe the Robullo that I know is not controlling this avatar at time of this post. Robullo is a top guy and this thread is just a warning to be aware the people you know might not be in control of the avatar all the time..... ie being hacked or letting little brother play - just for 2 examples.

This guy doesnt talk like Rob or act like Rob, Robs English is perfect and spoken in a mature way. He never asks to borrow stuff, he is never in a rush and certainly doesnt need to log out to figure what city he lives in.

He didnt quibble about being a "deep sea diver" when that isnt true at all.

just as I logged out to report this a soc mate who is also on Robs FL got a message.... "Hi mate can you help me".

I hope this thread isnt locked as im not calling Robullo a scammer at all..... he is one of the nicest guys I have met ingame.

All I am saying is the person asking to borrow items is not THE Rob and people should be aware of this.

Just let this thread be a warning to people that just because somebody is on your friends list it doesnt mean that the person you know is the person you are talking with.

Same thign happened to me and a soc mate.


Known him for 10months in Entropia directory, nice guy always polite and helpful.

HE asked in soc chat if anyone has an esi going cos he wants tochip out mining to raise cash.

Sure i had a 19ped esi, he didnt have the ped there and then but as alot of are, we are a little relaxed about payment for small items cos we have a close knit society.

Gave him the esi.. he promised to pay me within 20mins since he had a buyer 30secs later he logged out.

Instantly i know whats happened, i email him several times and 3 days later i get a reponse and speak to him.

Someone got into his email, recovered his password then logged in and stripped and sold his account bare except 80ped, from a auction which ended

He insisted on giving me 80ped for my esi and is now trying to sort it out with mindark.

With no MA ingame support and no support at weekends I thought I should report this on the forum and highlight the problem before something bad happens to somebody.

Plus, it at least logs events should Rob have a problem with his account.

ps, I bought 15mins before the guy got suspect that I was onto him by saying I needed to get the doa from a friend.... hell I even went to PA to report this to a guide but nobody there.

OK, I'll leave the thread open for the time being. As I understand it, Tekkie is of the opinion that Robullo is not currently being controlled by Robullo so to speak, and may have been hacked.

So its not a scam accusation but a security warning for people who know Robullo.

I'll close the thread once the matter is resolved. In the meantime I've reworded the thread title to alert people who know Robullo.

Presume you've also informed Support Tekkie? Think Support does now work Saturdays iirc.
