Does typing in wrong password lock account?

I need to get my account locked, and I heard that a fast way to do it is to repeatedly type in bad passwords.. Will this work? Will the person who's hijacked my account be able to login?

Yes for a while atleast done that in drunken condition cant just remember for how long

Can someone do me a favor: repeatedly type bad passwords until you get the lockout message on the site, then try logging ingame to see if it works? If this works I'll makea macro that repeatedly puts badpasswords in so the account is locked until MA can open on monday

I should try to get my account locked on a saturday night?

Anyway, I think it only locks for 15 minutes but could be wrong about that. I guess the biggest problem is if someone else is already on your account.

i believe it locks you form logging in for 15mins frrm the website and ingame.



I do have sympathy for you sammy, and while i agree with what 90% of the people saying about GC, and feel a little annoyed at your comment suggested you should get more privilages for support because you depo more is a bit anal...i understand that thats prob said out of annoyance and anger at the situation, i do hope you get this sorted sincerly.


But if they already in your account then it wont kick them out.


Also:

Do u have xfire?
If yes has anyone added you and tried to send you a file via xfire?
If yes did you accept said file?

(i had a random person add me to FL then try to send me a file via xfire)

Also... you opened any suspect emails or may have accessed a fake website.. eg the entropiauinervse.com whatever it is example.

Actual accounts of people "hacking" are rare.. its more 3rdparty keylogger/spyware or being frivilous with password/ people around you noting it down.


IF anything we need to figure out HOW someone got your account... i doubt they brute forced it or hacked it.

Edit: Ild laugh if u got banned for trying to brute force your own account with a Eula breaching macro LOL

Edit2:.... Just reactivate/ recover your password on the website... they cant change your email
