ClientLoader sends private information about YOUR PC & YOU to Google

When you start the Entropia Loader, it loads a webside to display the news. This page is loaded everytime the Loader is started and is updated when you start and end the game.
At the bottom of the HTML page, a java script from ”http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js” is loaded and executed. The collected data is sent back to Google, including information about your operating system, browser, IP adress and other information gathered.

Oh yes But when you open "nearly any other" webpage in your browser you can disable javascripting.
And of coz in EULA ther is no warning about that EU will gather and send personal info to thirdparties.

This is unlikely, but they can gather info about what software you are using to decide wich attack would be the most successful against your PC, what's your workstation name, username to improve bruteforce dictionaries.

no, no, no.

it is just statistics. many websites have trackers to see who visited and for how long, what browswer, etc. the only reason IMO that anyone is even up in arms over this is that MA is involved and the name 'google' is attached. nothing to see here, move along.

javascript technology lets client send any information and every file on your harddrive a user has access to.
So Google with the unintentional help of EU can have every file from your harddrive.
Imagine if your competitor paid Google for such an info, provided Google with your IP-address. Google can generate content of the script dynamicaly depending on IP address of client catching js file. And whe it sees your IP it generates "malware code".
The problem is that EU client ignores browser's configuration against scripting etc.
So I do recommend block google.com before starting EU client.

I routinely ftp my entire harddrive contents to google anyway. In return they remotely control my PC when I'm not around so they can call me on my mobile when I get an important e-mail.
