Please Help !

I have been playing EU for over 4 months now and I love this game .. If you look at the things I write in these forum threads you will get a hint of who I am IRL. However ..

Today is one of the most awful day I've ever had in-game ..
I logged on about 45 minutes ago to find all the stuff I have is gone .. I logged-on naked .. I had recently deposited and had over 90 peds on my ped-card, logged off; went on-line to study the next mob I'm planning to hunt. Iogged back on a couple of hours later and all I had left on me was the skills I had accumulated and 22 peds on my ped-card. The four months of deposits and the time I have put into the game is gone .. my items, loot, guns, armor, etc. all gone ..
The only thing I have left are the empty guns that I have maxed-out, and sum dung in the storage .. It's as if someone has done it on purpose .. but how ??

I went to EU site to file support but I couldn't find the link .. so I just removed the credit-cards that I had with them just in-case it was a hack and I didn't want that to get looted also .. Then I came here to hopefully find some answers ..

I've never given my log-in and password to a soul ..
How can anyone have access to my avatar ?
How do I get it back ?
Has this happen to anyone else ?
Can someone guide me to get to MA support ?
What should I tell them ?
What information should I include ?
Would they have a list of the items I had before and after it disappeared ?

This is the second time I had lost something in this game ( scammet thread ).. the first time was a learning experience .. this one hurts alot personally n financially .. I keep hoping it was juz a glitch but I have logged on and off a dozen times or so and all my stuff is still not there ..

Sorry for the whiny thread guys, it's just really a sad way to stop playing this game. It's ironic that my soc-mate had todays biggest hof, I was so happy for him. I was so determined to get further but now I'm not sure if I should keep playing. I dont even wanna log on anymore because it hurts my stomach each time I see my empty ava and my empty storage ..
Can someone please help ?

I will be going back to EU-site to try and find support in this matter after writting this. I will post updates and answer any questions I receive regarding this matter here. I will also post this thread to other forums for additional assistance. I will appreciate any of your help. Thank you for your time.

btw change account password, before hacker will take your skills also.

some questions that may help:

A) did you download any 3thrd party software, linked to EU
B) Do you have an MSN / other comm platform account where you might have leaked personal information? (eg. date of birth etc)
C) do you have a firewall? anti-spy & other sh*t software to protect yourself from keyloggers..?
D) Do you use the password from your EU account on other accounts (maybe less safe) as well?


Things you should do:

A) File a support (the link is posted here somewhere)
B) CHange your password ASAP
C) scan your PC / or just do a format and reinstall (I do that every 3 months)
D) Use some online protection
E) Get a goldcard
F) Don't give up.. start again, fight back, climb up from that deep crater you're in..

You still have your skills! That is a very important factor.

Well it certainly looks like someone had access to your account.
MA is capable of checking the logs from which Ip address there was access to your account and to which accounts your stuff was transfered.

So certainly make a supprot case for this.
I highly doubt MA will return your stuff but at least they can investigate which accounts are involved in this hack and ban them.
Maybe when your in luck the stuff is still there and they could transfer it back to you when they see proof that the trasnfers where made illegally.

To avoid this in the future:

*get a gold card
*be carefull with usernames and passwords
*Scan your PC regulary with for example hitman pro (www.hitmanpro.nl)
Its free..
*Change your password regulary (pc and EU account)
*etc

ye this sucks man. If you had a fair bit of money on your account and MA arent much help then contact the police and they will contact MA and MA will have to give them all the details. I know you would rather spend your PED on hunting rather than buying a Gold Card. But atleast your account is in far less danger of being hacked.

I also think its kind of strange that the attacker logged onto your account straight after you must of logged off. I would be looking at some of the people on your friends list.

Thank you guys for all this info on the matter ..

I'm not sure If I should even continue playing before having someone look at my pc for anything that might have been the culprit of the hack, if it was a hack that was able to get into my account .. the only thing I've recently downloaded that has anything to do with entropia is a screenshot program.
I've also changed my password and had reported the matter to MA support.

But now I'm even scared to log back on with my new password .. just incase the thing that got me is still in my pc .. I've also downloaded the program VmaX had suggested .. ( t.y. sir ) ..

Now here comes the weird part .. I'm not the only one in my soc that was targeted .. one of my mates PM'd me here accusing me of taking 400+ peds from him .. he went on by saying that he's already informed MA and that he will sue me .. I calmly replied and told him that I too am going through the same BS, have also reported the issue to MA and what I lost is alot more than his .. I'm not even sure y he thinks its me .. .. well .. guess just when u think it can't get worst .. oh well !

Why would he accuse you of hacking his account? I could think of other people to accuse first lol
