Another scamming method

Hi,

I run my soc site / forum at perseus-soc.com and we just had someone register there using the same nick as a member here who happens to be in a top soc (It's not the real person - I checked with him here already).

He posted a link to some program, claiming that it was a tool to help with keeping your system clean to enhance your security when playing EU.

This person has never posted before in that forum, and never again after that.

From what I saw of that file, I doubt it has anything to do with helping you with your system security.

So, if next time, one of the top players in this game pop in into your own soc forum or some other site asking you to download something, you know what to do :P

It's easy. Just NEVER download anything by clicking on a link. NEVER reply to an email or message containing links to anything. Problem solved.

There's also programs listed on *popular torrent site* specifically for Entropia. "Sweat Gatherer" if I recall correctly.

LoL, just looked it up. Didn't know about that before.
