That seems like a very good idea. Because knowing who your character traded with would make it a lot easier for the community to help XUXA find her items and who hacked her account and stole them..

Let's just hope MA would be willing to do that. Which under any circumstance they should do. As long as you can verify your the real account holder.

Pretty slim, even if they knew your e-mail address and the password for that account. They would have to go through several steps to try and get a new gold card. All of this would take some time, so hopefully one would be able to notice not being able to log in - nor would they until they registered this new shiny gold card.

Even if they DID manage it, I would hunt them down, and cut their necessaries off with an extremely blunt and rusty razor

Its my skills more than anything I would hate to lose, imagin that?

it sure sucks big time if u've been hacked. and saddly enough, it sure sounds like someone that knows u and knew u were gone. also knew that u actually had stuff worth hacking the account for. I ve never heard of ppl getting hacked that didnt actually have anything worth while

I'm not accusing u or anyone before that.. but man, is it just me or does hacked accounts always have something very expensive/rare borrowed ?

or does every other ava in EU always have rare, expensive borrowed stuff on them?

Almost the same thing happened to me this week. A friend of mine told me that a day before i wasn't answering to his PM's. I said "no way" i was out of town in that day and didn't have access to the computer.Luckly no item was took, maybe guys was preparing themselves to chip out and other stuff. I was received also few days befor the Gold card and i was in hurry to activate it. Now it is activated and seems it is OK.
I feel sorry for your loss and hope MA will improve the security. This is about real money, time and passion for this game !!!

Someone asked me how the story ended from my earlier post.

MA took about 3 weeks to sort out the paperwork and remove the lock from her account.

SHE TOOK THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP AND GOT A GOLD CARD!!

All the items that were sold on auction and bought back by soc mates and friends were handed back to her and our ped returned to us.

Though heartbroken at her beloved ava being without skill again she gritted her teeth and got back to the grind of reskilling.

At the end of the day MA are not responsible for your not getting a gold card so the most you could hope for is a fast response and lock from MA of your stolen ava.

As a note to the community...if you have a deciple...friend...or just stumble across someone new to our universe in the middle of nowhere....

Ask them if they know what a gold card is...and if not...Let them know just how important having a gold card is...
