I was prooven wrong and I know now he was really scammed and did all he could do to pay the owner of the armor back!

So, xuxa, now keep us updated what ma does to help you to find the scammer...and why you don't ask your friends to help you?

Man, this sucks... but have you ever heard the expression "there is no patch against human stupidity" ... your computer can be how secure you want it to be, but its always the human in the end that is the weak link.

You can have a hell alot of AVP and firewalls, but they doesnt help if you press "accept" in every box you got ... the main problem (with the most people) is that they dont know what the message really means, this is the big security problem imo.

I haven't been hacked in 10 years, iam not using a firewall/avp (AVP is mostly because they are annoying). Sure i got a goldcard, but i mean being hacked at all... (ok ive written some scripts/apps that alerts me when my system goes crazy)

I think your screwed. It seems that it would be next to impossable to prove that you didnt have a part in it and this is also why MA would never automaticly reverse any transactions that have came from this. Live and learn, GL.

It's would be nice if Xuxa tells us some info about the support cases and the reply from MA about the case.
I'm not seeing any data about that - only crying for friends help and who insulted who.
But what did the officials say about that ? A player has lost all his valuables, all his skills (i guess it's not so easy to extract and sell them FAST and then withdraw the money, or make a Christmas present to another avatar)...

As it turned out I guess I owe you an apology too for my harsh posting. And i really feel for you, but I still am a bit baffeled for all those hacked account that happens in vacations while somebody has borrowed something and dont have a gold card. In this case it seems like you was an honest person and really got hacked so please accept my sincerly apology. Hope you get everything resolved.

You have a good point, and yes, it would be rare, but impossible? No.

If I had been hacked already, I would have kept my account locked while ma (hopefully) sorted the mess out. What I wouldnt have done is logged back in and deposited more to pay people back for missing items.

I would certainly be emailing them, phoning them, even sending them a cheque, or a bank draft for lost items.

I'm not making any accusations here, my point is 'it wouldnt be impossible' for an attempted scammer/liar/thief to have second thoughts about following through with a scam.

Especially when they can see the majority of the community does not believe them, and would have to contemplate a future in EF/EU with doubt surrounding them.

No one for sure, apart from ma or the account holder, can prove without a doubt if that armor has been stolen, or is in-fact still in that persons inventory, or that a legitimate trade took place.

Really sorry about your losses dude but WTF your account is worth 13k and a gold card is free when you have depo'd more than 5k, if you've not depo'd 5k yet to get a free one with an account worth 13k is 200 ped not worth it?

I'm sorry to point out the harsh reality, but such is the life we live in people get hacked in every game and this is more of a target due to real life cash being involved.

Again i'm really sorry for your loss and hope something can get fixed out (doubt it tho, MA dont give a shit about hacked accounts).

Let this be a leason to all who read this thread if your account is worth something GET A FECKING GOLD CARD!!!!

After reading the FULL thread, whats the market price on the FULL Boar Armour is it not more than 13k? Which would leave no space for your skills and other items unless your a total noob with nothing and in that case why did you borrow full Boar?
