So sorry to hear this Hope MA ban everyone that have anything to do with it, but i guess it's a bigger chance everyone gets an ATH on snables :/ i had my gold card just laying here for weeks, not bother to activate it but im doing it now, hope you get a card also and that lootius repay you.

I don't understand why MA does not track items down in these cases and reverse all the transactions. If there is some dispute they could call the people up and do a conference call or something.

I read some older post and the person with the hacked account said MA would not do this because the victum in such cases might be in on it. What the heck does that mean? Simply return all items and funds to all parties and take whatever action is needed.

If MA sees someone log into an account from an different IP address and empty the account and sell the items at auction and then puts in for a withdrawl should that not be a sign of a problem especially when the owner calls in? Does MA think the owner gave all the stuff away for free? Just deny the withdrawl and return the items after speaking with both parties.

I really don't see why this is not handled better. If it was it would not happen as often.

If he can login while you are playing, getting you disconnected, it works both ways.

It's not about what kind of game EU is. That's not the way I meant it. It's about how MMO servers work.. It's just usually the way things are set up. That is why I assume it.

In my case it was someone i knew.

Because you also went on vacation.. it is probably someone close to you.

Yeah, your thinking about SOE based servers primarily.
They have them setup in such a way to prevent duplicate account logins since they host multiple characters for the one account to play.

EU is a little different in that you only have one avatar per participant allowed (Some exceptions do exist, but they permission from MA)

So the feature was not required with EU.

feel sorry for your loss.. get a GC asap, im pretty sure MA isn't going to refund your stolen stuff.. Sadly,revealing information about the scammer could cost them alot more than refunding your stolen stuff (legal reasons etc.)
