Removing "Leader takes all" was the worse thing MA could have done

I have Dejaro Jungeler IsBest in my Friend list. He befriended my best friend in game who refers to him as "my nice noob". Looks like we'll soon find out how right she is !

..But is meaning to, and if anyone saw him on-line, its a bug, cos he wasnt

i do believe the text says damage STACK share, not damage determines ITEM distribution. I know i've hunted with guys using bigger guns recently and i've always got the items. This was during a lucky streak, that has ended for now. I beleive the item was meant to go to that person in such cases, for whatever reason. Either way, everyone i team with knows the rules before we start, be they stranger or trusted friend.

As many have mentioned, and we've seen it in recent soc hunts, the current "stack share" setting seems to make non-stackable items go in random distribution. I can not say I favor this at all.

Meanwhile, on the soc front, Bird checked Jungeler's listing again in the soc terminal, making sure he didn't run away from his current soc.

Seems he recently received a promotion.

No, just that with the currently available team settings, it is very difficult to hunt with people you do not know well.

I have often taken newer players out on team hunts, splitting the loot evenly with them, partially to help them out, and partially to get a little dose of enthusiasm once in awhile.

Every time I do, though, there is always a little thought in the back of my head. What happens if we loot something serious? If I get it, as far as I am concerned, an agreement is an agreement. As painful as it would be, I would cough up their share.

But what if it goes to the other player? What are the chances that they will simply disappear? Even further than that, will they be willing to give the item to me for safe keeping since I have the Gold Card?

I guess that everyone needs to decide for themselves how they will feel about the situation if it ever arises.


As for the present topic, my hopes are that this has just been an example of that stupid FL bug. The one that makes people appear to be online when they are not. Considering how many times this bug happens, I think that maybe a little more patience would not be out of line.

Items before were the same way - given out at random or in a 'queue' order.
You kissed goodbye to hunting with anyone a long time ago, then, because this is nothing new.

The non-stackables are passed out randomly, which is usually ok, so that the person who is doing the most damage isn't ALWAYS going to get that one liver/heart/brain oil, etc.

Anyway - I hope you get ahold of the guy and get your mate's share of the loot, JC !

Have noticed odd looting rules that sometimes happen like this - the system gets confused @ certain %.

Amazing over how little money some people will abandon this game.

noob prolly don't realise that reputation and respect are everything :)

Sad how long term players do the same :( But that evolution. Search and destroy.

If I remember right (which I totally could be wrong) MA said that they removed the 'Leader takes all' option on team looting because of some exploits in lootable PvP zones ?

Maybe .. I think .. I dunno ..
