I thought he was trying to say "thief" and that really confused me.

Reminds me of a guy who got into our soc. Kept telling us about how he was making tons of PEDs by "playing smart". Then there was some story about how he was quitting because some of his friends were jealous of him.

So, the story eventually comes out that he scammed some of the bigger players in game. He ends up scamming several of our socmates for a bunch of equipment, eventually disappears and, I think, got his account locked.

The worst part about it, he was actually proud about what he had done. Was telling one of our guys about how "smart" he had been.

I guess what really pisses me off the most is that the people he scammed in our soc lost a big part of what they owned at the time. It wasn't even huge money but it was significant to them. I guess the asshole just did it for fun.

The world's full of scammers and thieves. With 700000 accounts created, we should consider ourselves lucky that there aren't more like this around.

I like to think that people like this will figure it out one day. They might find themselves on their death-beds thinking "Hmm.. Not many people have come to see me before I die.. I wonder why that is. Oh hang on. Maybe it's because I spent my life being a total tool and getting my priorities all wrong. Aaaaah bugger..."

Can't help you with soc leader, that wasn't posted but the society was posted in the first post quoted above.

So, a few of last posts in this thread revealed some thingie,
called "reverse ethics" - it's when a dude makes something
wrong (i.e., unethical things) and thinks ~ it so, like such
"an achievement" can make him be proud of what he did..

It doesn't, actually.. and serves community as
example of crooked education and values in RL.
Some part of 'em has the same behaviour in life..

I just had the "good fortune" to bump into "Jungeler Isbest" at Atlas Haven, and challenged him about this situation, pointing out that he owed Bird some ped...

His arguement, basically, was, "I looted the ESI, I keep the ESI"

He asked me if I was "Jelous"...

"I replied, "Jelous of someone who stitches up their friends for a few ped, I don't think so.."

His predictable response was, "Friends!? Get some RL friends, compunerd"

So I guess he's made his position clear...

Look at it like this. He's a "feel-good person"

I certainly feel good that I don't see the world as he does..

It saddens me more than anything that there are people like this in EU, as well as any other online games.

Seems this guy thinks he is the hottest thing since sliced bread, but he will find out soon enough that in order to get ahead in this game, and in the RL world, you have to earn your reputation.... he has certainly earned his, and I am certain that anybody who has read this thread will not forget his name.
