I have had this a few times recently. An avatar on my FL appears to log on and log off a few mins later and appears as online in my FL. Nobody else can see them on their FL however and when asked later they say that they didn't log on at that time. A couple of other people have told me they had the same thing with 'ghost' logons so hopefully it is just a bug and harmless.

Yes, I hope it's a bug too - but nevertheless a bug which would be quite nice to know about for especially people using GC's. When is it a bug and when might it not be?

Seen this bug before. A socm8 was online all the time but not responding. Turned out to be a bug. Last time I heard about this bug was last week. (Someone PMed me about it in bit of a panicing way, like this post hehe) So, I would not worry to much. It is very likely a bug.

If i look good @ the picture u made, Lykke, i see "Col -" before the logoff message.
I think someone was joking with u in normal chat and typed the message "ViagraFalls has left the Entropia Universe".
The next line is the same joke but from a avitar called "x-Col".

Normaly when u have someone on your FL u see Name - Nickname - Lastname.
This isn't show in the screenie u made.

In one word, u been fooled

No hacking, no problems.

ps. I do that jokes from time to time in soc chat.
like "killed a creature etc etc ect"
Sometimes soc mates react on that too, just beeing funny.

I have been experiencing this bug too.

My soc mates asked me why I had been loging in and out at strange hours (3-4 am) without saying anything, not even "hi", they thought I was being rude

Of course, I had not loged in at those hours, so I was scared (although I own a GC too), and filed a support case. The support guys were very friendly and did some searches on their database, and told me that all logins with my account came from the same computer (different IPs, since they are dynamic, but same EU client), and that I had never loged in at those hours (all logins came from 4pm to 11pm, aprox).

So, I was quite confident this is a bug, where for some reason, avatars are incorrectly shown in chat as logging in or out.

Well, I chose to call them that

CoL - ViagraFalls (means Church of Lootius-member - ViagraFalls)
x-CoL - Dilly (means x-Church of Lootius-member - Dilly)

That helps me keep in track who people are. I have also people called:

WoF - "name"
VIP - "name"
cND - "name"
Art - "name"
Pilot - "name"

etc.
