GC Code needed to access Account Information

I have noticed that if you have a Gold Card, you need to generate a code to change your account information on the homepage. for MA for implementing that, that's a second security improvement with the VU.

finally tighter security, also the username & password wont be passed in errors now due to it being moved 'ingame' rather than on CL

Yup, that's the second improvement I mentioned, you cant use a simple process explorer anymore to see your login and password in the entropia.exe.

Is there some method of reporting a desynched CG evident then? If you have to sign in to report a desynched card, but your card is desynched....

Unless they didn't mess with the "My Support" part...

You dont have to use the GC to write a support case, you just cant edit your account data without the code.

no, i don't think u need to generate a code every time u log in - ur buggered if u lose ur gold card then. i can see a lot of support cases starting with "hey ma, my mate lost his gc, could u send him a new one please?"
