No, because as soon as you either right click-copy/<ctrl>C, that information is copied to your clipboard on your computer.

Keyloggers that can read your clipboard are quite common. If you have got enough malicious code on your computer to record your keystrokes, why not a few lines of extra code to record clipboard information too?

A firewall will help to keep the nasty pests away, but the only infallible network security system is a computer with its network connection removed.

Since you can get infected from pressed store-bought software and audio-cd's these days (hello Sony), I'd dare to say the only uninfectible pc is a pc that is not infected, never used, locked in a safe, turned off and never have the safe opened or breached in any way. And maybe even then the air inside it can infect it with a biological virus.

A program that can read and report your keyboard usage is a keylogger.

If someone can sneak in a keylogger on your computer, they could sneak in ANYTHING on your computer. And yes, that means they could wipe your hard drive too, just as easy as they could log your keys, or read your clip board.

Keyloggers (and other spyware) are just more common than wiping HDs, since they can potentially rob a bank account with a keylogger. Destroying a HD doesn't gain them anything. (Except those warped minds who would think it would be fun)

My friend had her account stolen a long tme ago when someone hacked into her email account and changed the password....

Gold card will take a while to get to you so only suggestion I can make is go to the email account and change that password just incase that is where they got the info from.....

Then do a password change to the EU account ....

Hope it is just a ghost issue but better to be safe than sorry
