Harley Sweety Jolly- RIP- HACKED-SCAMMED

I am the avatar Harey sweety Jolly. I wanted to tell my story. I had been corresponding with a guy from Romania for over a year who told me he use to play EU. and we exchanged pictures and I thought became friends. On Dec 19, 2007 he sent me a file with some pictures of Romania in them and I didn't think any thing about it... THen Dec 20 2007 I get a call from my son, who plays EU, who tells me Sweety is in Argus scamming people....I was at work... So when I got home i got on EU and sweety's soc was asking so many questions.. I looked in my inventory and I had NOTHING, except some bps, and esi inserter. So i ran to the storage... all most everything was GONE!! I had been playing a year and 3 months, deposited every month, hofed 2 times and globaled often.. I had many clothes, and guns, and matierials for tailoring, I was s level 33 pistoleer, with 118 health points, and almost 4600 in hand gun skills... THE hacker took all my evade, and hand gun, and healing..skills!! In the File he sent me was a key logger!!!
well I got off and sent in a support case to MA... and Dec 21 i went in my email and there was another entry from EU... It was the hacker he changed sweeties password... so i changed it and got in the game... the my friends contacted me and ask for their esi's... Rippy was one... I found 2 esi's to give to her.. but found out the hacker scammed 3 more of my friends.,, poseing as me. The hacker took over my email too... I got off to send another case to MA telling them to Lock sweeties account.. then I couldnt get in to my email.. and I couldn't log in to sweety... SO I Made a new avatar and contacted my soc,, ran some tps to twin and there was my sweety selling my skills for cheap... I called out to everyone the Sweety was a hacker and a scammer!!!!!!!

The point of this whole story is GET A GOLD CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it would have not have happen.. I feel worse that my friends got scammed then i do loosing sweety... I will be making amends to them.... I want to publicly appologize to who ever got scammed and Tell you to get a gold card asap!!!! and Thank all my soc and friends who supported me!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
I might be able to get sweety back but I feel her reputation is tarnished and I have started over... my new avatar is still sweety2 !!!

I hope you continue to play PE Sweetie2...this just goes to show you can't trust anyone you don't know in real life, It's heartwarming that your soc mates stood by you and understand what's happened to you. If just one person reads this and avoids being scammed by following good advice and buying a Gold Card then what has happened will not be in vain....little comfort for your stolen skills ect .....

Sorry to hear about that.

Like you say, though - getting a gold card (and perhaps a better virus checker & spyware spotter) is the moral of the story.

As your story shows, its not just you who has lost out as a result of your not having a gold card, but also your friends who trusted you (and hence your avatar).

What can I say? I have NO sympathy for you, with those sort of skills and no Gold Card? You were asking for this to happen.

In a way its good to have these stories, I hope this convinces some people to get a goldcard...

I hope that you got rid of the keylogger before making sweety2, and made sure any other online accounts you use are taken care of.

Has Sweety2 ordered her gold card yet?

well, there you go. a file with pictures of romaina. couldn't he just have sent the pictures ?

in anycase, this sounds like a classic confidence scam.

It IS an elaborate setup. But then, it might well involve serious money, especially for Romanians, who on average make about US $800,- a month.

I've met lots of good, non-scamming people from Romania .. so, can we please not go there again.
There's a lot of asshole scammers everywhere, but we don't dislike and judge everyone for it.
Sucks that this guy went to prove the point of the "Romanians are scammers" state of mind.
But .. now you know .. get a gold card
