BP Scam?????

I think i have uncovered a new scam.

Twice so far be 2 differant people, i have been selling enmatts that have i have been aproched by someone who offered me a BP for my enmatts,
The BP is worth 0.01TT and they put 99pec in the trade window also. when you cheack the markup on the BP it has a nice markup but i know thats for BP with a higher TT price. So they try and make u think ur getting something thats worth a bit but it is realy worth nothing.
First time was with a D-1 BP and i almost fell for it.

Has anyone else seen these people??

I asked the second guy who i cant name why he do this and he said "how else can i make money"

Dont take BP`s in trade for anything unless u know for sure what there worth and if you see 99pec in the window with a BP cancel and walk away.

Happened to me yesterday when i was tryna sell me kobold. I said no (thanks to lightning consultation from Messiah ^^)

Don't trade with these guys.

Damn there is a list of items in the tradewindow showing the exact TT of every item/stack.

A BP worth 0.01 and a stack 0f 99 PEC=0.99 PED is surely complete different from a BP with an value of 1.00 PED.
There is also a security as you have to confirm every trade where you can check the items again that are traded to you.

Open your eye and check twice what is in trade window, especially with people that you don´t know!

If you miss twice to read the information given to you its not a scam its simple stupidness.

Thanks, I have seen people trying to sell bps for more than they are worth playing off how the auction history displays. I have not run into this yet, but am sure that it may catch newer players unaware.

They may not even realize that the 99 pec is to give an apparant value of 1 ped and make the trade.

Always nice to see somone not fall to a scam and come here to let others know about it.
