Well I was scammed by this guy .. also .. can someone help me get my stuff back or am I as*ed-out ? Between 2:00 - 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 29 (usa - pacific time) an avatar approached me asking if I wanted to upgrade the armor I was wearing to a better one. This is only my first month in Entropia and I love it. I've met awesome people who went out of their way to guide noobs like me; so I believed this guy was just another kind Entropian trying to help a noob. He said that he was quitting the game and would like to help others before he left, so I gave him the full armor I had on ( ghost face, shogun harness, aurora arms, ghost gloves, ghost thighs, shogun shin, and shogun foot. ) I also gave him some ore n en matters worth over 60 TT peds not including % on items. He and I then went to the machine and he began crafting .. we were chatting a bit when he got excited and said he couldn't believe he was able to craft an improved shadow armor .. when it was ready he asked if I had 5k peds to get the armor out and that I would get it back, explaining that the shadow armor is worth more than that. I was also excited but something tells me I should get a second opinion, after all I already gave this guy around 300 peds of my stuff. So I told him that I might be able to get the money in a week so he agreed to meet me back at PA around the same time on Jan 2nd or 3rd .. I was logged-on both those days but I didn’t see him. However, around 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 4th he was playing so I PM him and he responded. I said I might not be able to get this kind of money and if I could just perhaps get my armor back. I even said he can keep the ore and en matter. He didn't respond so I just asked what would be the lowest amount I could get the armor out and he said 2k but the stats would be lower. After talking with him I said that I might be able to get the whole amount and that I would contact him if I get it. He gave me his email (*) I also gave him mines, now I'm not sure what to do next ... Any suggestions on how I should handle this situation ? ? ?

Youre right youve been scammed. There is no way anyone can upgrade your armor only way to do that is by buying plates or a new set of armor.
Most certainly dont give him any money as nobody can craft Shadow armor. Its a lootable only armor.
And dont hope you will ever get the stuff you gave him back.
Sorry for your loss, but hey atleast youve learned a lesson :P

A support case might help, but don't count on it.

And as the other guy said, a good lesson learnt. Don't ever give anyone anything without collateral.

Just a little note if he has your email just incase be carefull what he sends you via email just incase he sends you somthign with a keylogger on it to get your account im not saying he will but just incase be very carefull who you give your email address out to int his game .

there are a lot of friendly ppl in this game that will help you but there are a lot of horrible ppl also

sorry to hear you lost so much money just be carefull who you trust

stating your an MA official Will get u Locked Most Definatly. Proof that SCAMMERS are Stupid and Dont read the End User License Agreement. Hope that he Gets nailed.

Yeah it does suck cuz it took me awhile to get all my stuff, but sometimes trust is a gamble; and it doesn't mean I'm gonna be bitter and stop trusting others .. I believe Entropia's a perfect example of how far people can get working together .. If I can help a noob by posting here then the money I lost is worth it .. lesson learned .. Thx for the posts .. If u have other suggestions keep it coming .. this guy is still asking if I have the money ..

Comparing getting your car stolen to the fact that he gave his armor to the scammer voluntarily, is rather far fetched.

I know he thought he was gonna get helped....

Thats like comparing getting your account hacked and getting scammed.

So i suggest that you think first :P
