It depends how the AV-AS works. It also depends if it's script or compiled code or an exploit in an image using buffer overflow.

Herb, I can tell you that ijn the past I have developed payloads for showing how security can be bypassed and it is not detected by having up to date virus software. Virus software can not protect against zero day exploits no matter how good their heuristic abilities are.

If I create a very specific executable, change the logger so that it has a different hash, header, and signature files chances are high that it will not be detected by up to date virus software at all. And if I develop this and target a very small and select group of people chances are no one will report it to any virus software company for them to develop a definition for it.

Up to date virus software is a must, but it will not protect you against zero day exploits or well designed trojan programs. Be careful what you install and know where it came from.

Fast change of password just means hacker can lock you out from website as well? More time to steal your items anyways.
