For all colonist from Entropia ! Read carefully and attention: do not run any program given in real life by any unknown colonist! I make my report to Entropia an open letter in this forum because anyone must now the story to make the colony safer and to protect the colonists:" MY AVATAR WAS STOLLED!!! I have meet yesterday an colonist who have give me an program who was, as I see later, an key logger virus. With this, the person (if I remember right middle name Cosmyn13 with e-mail: the_past_is_over@[Deleted] and also I suspect with an other email: [Deleted] for an other avatar) broke my computer and receive my username and password for Entropia. On Entropia site at my items I see how my items disappear and I can’t enter in Entropia because “You are already logged in” – this was the message. So: my items made with much work at hunting and mining and with deposits from my bank card (can check this – is on database) was stilled, and MY AVATAR WAS USED BY AN OTHER PERSON!!! yesterday and today; broking all lows and agreements of the game and many lows from the real world (penal code)!!!
I have searched yesterday at the moment when I understand what is happened, on Entropia Universe site, a page where I can change my password, but I can’t find it!!! (please make one), just a page where “If you have forgotten your Login and/or Password, you may reactivate your account. Please click here to Reactivate Account.” I have solicited this procedure by entering my e-mail and I have received the message: “We have received your re-activation request. You will shortly receive an activation link by e-mail. Thank you for your patience.” Teat was yesterday on 31.01.2008 but until now, (hour 22:00) 01.02.2008 I have NOT received any e-mail to can change my password. About half our ago I see my account is looked, witch is good, regarding the fact teat I can’t use my avatar, but please respond at my yesterday request to CHANGE the password. I do not believe to recover my items but at least the person witch use my avatar will no make more bad things.
In inventor It was (carried) : a Ghost armor set, weapons: A-3 Punisher, Starkhov AS97, Marber Bravo - Plasma, EVE EP40, FrenD Alpha Mentor, 2 amp Omegaton A103, Castorian combat EnBlade, Lesser teleport chip, mining tools set for ore and eme, Omegaton FAP 50, and (in storage) many kind of cloth made by me, wool, leather, loots objects, ore ingots and eme refined, almost all books for blueprints with many worked blueprints … and hunting trophies and miscellaneous, and about 220 PEDs cash. I think all about 6-7k PEDs and about 2 months of hard hunting, skill progress and mining.
looking in My items at Entropia site I see the list of my items with 3 NeoPsion Aa Mindforce Implant. I was have over 120 items (can check on game database) but never I have not 3 !!! implants, just one for teleport chip. Teat give me the idea teat person who have still my avatar have maybe still also my skills!!! Please check also this on the game database. I have over 2500 points at laser sniper and so on… "
NOW: If anyone observe someone do some like that report as soon is possible to Entropia the name of the avatar, because I think the stilled avatar will be used to still others people, and this must stop.

If he use keylogger, ASAP find this worm (I reccomend format) and change any password that you have - mails, bank etc. And sorry for your loss :/

Could you specify how did that guy you met advertise this program to you? I mean, what could it be that you would accept a 3rd party program from a complete stranger?

Yes, I have format my HDD, reinstall the operating system, change all passwords, put a good antivirus... now i'm clean and secure.
Except on the Entropia where the passwrod was NOT resetted until today. I do not understand that slow motion of MA in a mather of security.
I suspect also an other avatar with name [Deleted] . Check out !!!

if you cant afford ''Gold Card'' security system.. then use best antiviruss you can get + antispyware for high security .. scan your computer offten and everything should be fine...

When you buy a gold card you get the card and a reader. You sign in with your normal login info but then another screen pops up asking for the gold card number; you insert the card in to the reader which generates a number, then type that in to this extra screen.

Basically it means that you're using a unique password each time you sign in. Even if someone has your login info they could not get past the gold card screen.
