SFE has now produced a full male set and a full female set of this rare and unique armour. We're auctioning them both in the one thread!

That's right:

We're taking bids for about 6 and a half days, so that the auction will end at a time that suits the majority of people.

I am sincerely interested in this set. But pls explain to me how you arrive at more than 400% markup for the whole set?

The way our business works is that in exchange for the service we provide, including convenience, reliability, only supplying full suits (and full TT in the case of L armours), online catalogue - www.southernfortress.com.au/catalogue.php - and online ordering service - www.southernfortress.com.au/ordering.html, we must charge what it costs to craft the armour we sell.

Each month, our Treasurer produces a report about the latest cost and price movements, which can be found as an announcement in our forum - http://forum.southernfortress.com.au/viewforum.php?f=82 - and analyses our existing prices which may be adjusted up or down.

Specific to Spectre (L), each attempt at a full suit uses 8 langotz (currently around 1450%), 7 platinum (currently around 400%) and other materials. It is SFE policy to sell L armours at full tt, so residue must be factored in as well, I'll let you do your own maths on that.

While some may say our prices seem high relative to other available armours, particularly unlimited, SFEs prices are dictated by market value of materials. We do not endorse reselling and will not buy cheap armour and sell at a markup. You can be assured if you buy armour from SFE, you are the first owner that armour piece has ever had, as we have crafted it ourselves. This does mean any price fluctuation in materials is felt right down the line to the armour consumer.
