Making a new thread of the selling:

Selling Vain armor (well can't call it a set anymore i guess? .).

Vain harness (M) estimated value minium = 12k-15k
Vain Helm (M) Estimated minium value = 10k-12k
Vain Arms (M) Estimated minium value = 10k-12k
Vain Thighs (M) Estimated minium value = 12k-15k
Vain Shins (M) (only ones i know off ingame) Therefore Estimated Value = +14k-18k
Eon Gloves (M) (Had bid on 17k once) minium Estimated value = 17k-21k

(Eon gloves also possible for sale seperately)

That makes the set 75k in parts. at minium prices i'll estimate them at. And 93k at what i'll call near normal (of course personal opinion if my estimates seems reasonable). and what market statestic says on those that has one (its rare parts so not much to see there auctually. Mostly outdated. As i had parts before in time i got a knowledge about parts value from there.)

Good for hunting & Pvp.

That looks a lot less goofy now. I don't think not having the foot guards will hurt at this point, because they aren't even available. I think everyone will share a part of the crapiness that came from that move, not just sellers.

It depends on alot.

But prices are already high?. you think people wanna pay 100 k suddenly instead of 80 k for a full set of shadow?

neither does any want to sell for 60k instead of 80k from the one day to the another.

I think they just implemented the VU without thinking much about a good solution for all parts..

I dont understand why you worry at all. Price will raise on set when you have footguards. It will stay the same without. Why do you think it has gone down without footguards? Elaborate please....

If toyota suddenly removed the whole interior. and asked the same price for the car. I dont think people would feel attracted to pay the same price?. Would you?.

Would you. as a new armor buyer. Feel attracted to suddenly add 20k Ped to get a "complete" armor now. When you could got a complete one the day before for 20 k cheaper?.

I just can't get it to be logic.

After giving it some thought, I am leaning to the side that says armor set prices will not go up drastically with the inclusion of foot guards. I say this because I think the price of armor sets is dependent less on the pieces of armor that are required for a full set, and more dependent on the perceived value of having a specific level of protection.

On the other hand those who are stuck piece-mealing as set together (like me ) will be harder hit, as there is now another piece to track down and buy or find a reasonably well suited stand in.

So I guess what I am saying is that it will be an even trade off, and noone really even knows yet.

Man, if foot guard is ur sole reason, I think you should meditate more on this. Vain is, with Chronicle and Sentinel, pretty much unique-sets armours. With a balanced piece (u did pick eon for gloves..), it could stay just as good.

If we don't see a damage nerf, i.e. max dmg remains the same, decay shall spread out, armour shall keep longer hunts, etc.

Ofc, this is just my opinion, u're the owner afterall. Just wanted to throw 2p after a day of work

i dont think the damage recieved is spread out. i think it hits one part only. Im not sure though.

if spread out. The Protection is high enough with 5b to not need an extra part. I would say (1.0 dmg from troxes and so on)..

im meditating on it. But its not like stuff like this sell from another day to another. Normally take some time to get the serious bids rolling in.

Its uniq. If not mindark suddenly decide to drop tons of parts and screw me over (tried it with salamander in the past. Bought some parts and then it began droppnig crazy and fell 50% in price).

My reason is. This VU made me very concerned about if i lose alot of my money if not i do a decision now. In either - A. Belive in mindark cares about those with alot of $$$ in. - B. Think they do not.

At the moment im the last. This is natural. because if i was working at mindark. the game would been more like Project Entropia. and less like Entropia Universe.

Of course there is people that belives in the A option too. and i respect that. But i know that in this world. you have to take care of your money. If you dont. your going to hit the bottom. the day you see your screwed over because you had to much trust in something.


You might wonder why i so openly speak my mind about this in my own salethread?. Well. Im not going to lie as why i am selling. I dont like the idea of washing off my own problems in others unknowness. This is how i feel like its going with EU. and others feel the same. There is those who thinks the otherwise. and its those i hope buys the armor set. Im perfectly fine with being screwed over by alot of money. Just if the fucking company was just honest in their VU content list and write "we know this might affect peoples investments to the negative". And show a little understanding and let the community know they thought of it before implementing it.

They didnt throw out the interior. They added some new gear wich will ( probably) ADD to the total price .
