Hello fellow Entropians.
While reading this thread: High-end items NOT being used
I thought that it really sucks that some items just cover dust in various inventories and storages. JC started to talk about uber items, but there are also ppl like me, who have stuff which is not uber by any means, just regular stuff, but still can be usefull for ppl out there. I started thinking about my storage and my inventory and came to conclusion that I also have stuff that can be used by someone. With all UL items droprate experience every generation of Entropians is poorer. So why don't give them a chance to try something.
My stock is poor, I admit. Nothing special. I'm at the end of UL upgrades and I won't get many more UL items for my own usage. Yes, I want to buy some stuff for the future when I grow up to use it, but most of this stuff will end up as part of this service anyway. Rules of the service will be simple.

1. User of the service has to be EF member, so I can check reputation of such person fast, without making complex backgroud checks. I thing Hatchling rank wont be enough, I'm affraid, but I think Old+ should be ok (unless u have only neg reps)
2. Basic time of borrowing any item will be 3 days, after that I expect to see it again. I will have to work out terms for armor lending in the future though, as I'm not sure what to do with them now. And I'm not sure if anyone out there would be interested in borrowing armors.
Ofc after 3 days you can borrow item again, unless someone booked it before.
3. Cost of using this service is basically up to you. All items I start with will be decayed to minimum. Fee for the service will be tt of these items. I will require collateral, which will be basically about the current markup (double or triple for rare items or getting market value fast, but actually I have nothing like this in my posession), so in case someone decides to run away with item, I can replace it no matter what it's current price is.
However, when you return the item, you will get back only your collateral. So you should make sure you decay an item to tt it had before. As I wrote, service fee is up to you at the end.
What happens in case tt is higher than it was before? Well, next person who borrows an item will have slightly higher fee.
4. If I happen to raise any peds with this service, they will become a separate fund used to improve this service, mainly for making the stock bigger, so more ppl can use the service. Plus, I hope it will allow be to grab some items from resellers' clutches and put them into good use.
5. If for any reason I decide to leave EU or stop this service for good (altough see no reason why I should stop playing U within next few years, still have some goals to achieve and they will keep me busy for at least 5 next years lol), all items bought with this service fund will be sold on EF on 7 day charity auction starting with 1 ped, without buyout and with auction restricted to the people being on the white list I plan to create for this service. All whitelisted ppl will be informed about this fact (that's another reason why I restrict service to EF users). Peds gathered through this auction will be used to aid some newcomers, maybe through event of some type or something like this (as I wrote, I do not plan to leave EU, so I'm unsure of such details. One thing which I am sure of is that I won't withdraw this money and run away with them, they will be used for helping actual EU participants).
Each item bought with money raised with this service will be marked as such, so ppl who want to watch my hands are able to do so.
6. If someone is willing to donate any item to this service, it's not a problem too. Such person will be mentioned on White List as donator and item will be marked as "donated by...". You will have to state clear however if you donate this item (means it will be sold on EF like the rest of items in case I stop playing EU or stop the service) or just lending it for some time.
7. Service will use it's own reputation system. If you borrow and item and return it on time, your ava name will appear on White List with a number stating how many times you successfully used the service. Example: Marco 10 means that this person used the service 10 times, always returning items on time. Black List, as you can guess, will list these ppl who failed to return item on time and have no excuse for that (everyone can always PM me on EF if for example his PC died and he can't log on to EU). If a person was on White List before, will be wiped from there, placed on Black List with -1 and using this service by such person will not be possible in the future.

The service will start within 2 weeks probably as I have to prepare stock and make list of the stuff. Plus, 2 weeks is enough for ppl to post their opinions or advices here, so maybe the service will have first improvements before it starts.

I don't have the list ready yet, but to give some information on what users of this service can expect, I can tell that definetely there will be things like:
1. Energy amps
Omegaton A101, Omegaton A102, 2x OmegatonA103, OmegatonA104
As one of final upgrades of my UL amps I'm planning A105, so hope it will end up on this list too. Probably several E amps as well.
2. BLP amps
Not planned atm
Probably will try to place here Fi/Ra/Co Beast and Dante in the future, it can take some time though
3. Mining tools
OF105
Planned MF105
I will complete all of OF and MF series as well
4. Healing tools
Usual FAPs from 5 to 80,
I have no unusual ones like 69, 90 or 110 but if I happen to loot any of them, it will end up in this service as well. Probably I will also add EK 2350 and EK2600 here too.
5. Weapons
Starting with stuff like EP40, MK2 and several other rather low level guns
I will try to add weapons like Katsuischi Honor and RepEdge Axe 2x0 Probably MadIV will be added within few months, haven't decided yet, still love this toy

6. Armors
Have several sets I don't use, but honestly don't know yet how to include them in the system so someone can use them for hunting, but I suppose I will make it as a separate list for movie makers, advertising screenshots and so on.

As you see, it wont be anything glamorous. Nothing uber here. With time, as I replace my weaponry with L stuff and finish all upgrades I have in plans, the list will grow with maybe more usefull stuff and I will make it also a bit cleaner in the future. As I said, I would like to start this service within two weeks or so and still have to prepare myself for it. I suppose A10X are the most usefull items here.
