Im gonna try to say this as nicely as possible so as not hurt people damaged by this even more, what the hell were u thinking giving this guy money? and why would you trust him with your money? a forum friend? an ingame virtual friend?
Trust is a big issue in entropia and yet this guy scam you people for thousands of dollars,he's hit the ath allright!

i feel that i have to take part now in the discussion going on. i was following it for some months now.
well, he wasn`t a forum friend and he wasn`t even a virtual friend. all i can say is "no risk, no fun". we knew the risks, we still don`t know if we are scammed or not and if we couldn`t afford the money on a high risk basis we wouldn`t have given it to richard. so why are you posting things that have been mentioned before, that are not constructive and that don`t tangent you at all.

Firstly, trusting ANYONE is always a gamble.
Nothing ventured, and all that.
I never invest/gamble with anything I can't afford, and, and many of my gambles like this have paid off. So, lighten up.
If you are too much a weenie to take a chance, you are prolly in the wrong Soc.
So, like Shee says, if you got nothing to constructive to contribute, piss off, mate.

some risks are larger than others. richard presented himself as a profitable business man and 'proved' his ability over time. regardless of the current situation he is young and in university and took on a large project. perhaps it got too big to fast, perhaps he had a series of factors make it fail, perhaps he went on a crafting run on full condition and lost it all. some many things.

bottom line the people that invested knew what they were doing and such now are finding out sometimes things don't end well. so far the only investment group that is working as planned is still the EIF. large scale and well managed, but at any point it coudl crash and people would be out a lot of more money.

i never invested in richard so i have kept most of my opinions to myself. i did like him in game, he seemed genuine, but he was most certainly a reseller of the less savory kind. but to come here and call him a scammer and those that trusted him stupid is poor taste. i never believe richard wanted it to end like this, however, it is.

in any case, i guess if you are not invested or involved it is time to bow out of the thread. they have a locked forum to discuss what needs to be done and as far as we all non-involved people are concerned the discussion can continue without us.

I agree it's not nice to call the investors stupid. Naive maybe.

But whatever the reason, if 'Devil' spent/lost/gambled with/stole other peoples money, he's a scammer imo.
