Port Atlantis Mall Store Review Floor 1 - 01 L - Wide selection, good pricesThe introduction of the malls brought a terrific opportunity for enterprise within Entropia. Unfortunately, there are many duds out there. Empty or near empty stores, terrible stock, extremely overpriced selections... so many bad stores. One could waste hours just trying to find the few decent shops out there. Now you can know what type of stock stores have without wasting an hour visiting each shop. News: I've just finished the second review for the mall. Mainly this involved bettering the review by listing all the items for sale, for your convenience. If you want to look for a specific item within the mall, simple use the search function of your browser. Some names I did shorten (such as FAP-10 instead of the full name), so keep that in mind when phrasing your search terms. The old review text has been greyed out, so it is still there for reference. When I do my third review that text will be deleted and the current text will be greyed. A word on ratings: I have judged each stores in three categories: Quantity, variety, and prices. A 5-X rating on prices means all or almost all of the stock within the store are at least slightly beneath auction prices. 4-X means some, but not all, is at or below auction value. 3-X denotes that most prices within the store are a bit above market value, but still pretty reasonable. 1-and-2-X price marking means expect a really overpriced stock. I will update this thread once per week at a minimum. If you are store owner and want me to re-review your store at once, let me know. ghandi, thanks for taking the time to do this. as the mall owner, i'm aware that some of our shops are lackluster, hard to kick the store owners in the head, sometimes they don't even pay there rent. but port atlantis mall is improving step by step with each new shop that opens.
hally's art gallery is a nice new addition. we have several new shops opening this week. 1-12 s is closed pending a new owner next few days. also, failivrin is open doing haircuts. that shop was never really ever intended to have anything for sale in it, but haircuts are available as the best mall salon in game is open for business. i'm happy to say that the mall is improving daily. thanks for taking the time to come and check it out. |

Great post, Ghandi. Although some shopowners may be horrified at the ratings, posts like this will certainly help to drive the point home to Entropia Entrepreneurs(no reference intended to ANY soc that may have that name
 ) that, if they want to succeed, they'll need to bring they're prices in line to what the market will actually bear.+rep for this |

I realize that what shop owners do is mostly out of your control... I hope that this will be at least a small kick in the pants to the neglectful store owners, an impetus for improvement. It's not all bad though , you've got plenty of stores which are open for business with a good stock. Some could just use a bit of tweaking.Today or tomorrow I'll review Twin and Emerald malls. Quote:
