The coolness in a day thing was a joke at the way BH said he'd go from lvl 78.9 damage to lvl100 in a few weeks.

I earned coolness when I had it, slowly getting there again

Whilst I appreciate the indicative maths you've done, the only way you can achive what you have written is if BH competed in a 27 week merry mayhem (or whatever it was called)

It is impossible to constantly fire at that rate like it is pretty much impossible to fire at the max rate of a mod merc without wasting your ammo with misses.

+ you forgot to include pi$$ breaks in there

Without armor, without having to FAP, hunting exarosaurs with a unlimited UL2. You will still lose money

Does this proof that whatever gear you use, you will lose? Unless u know what to hunt these days of course

If thats true...EU doesnt makes sense for me now...I dont see myself in the future ingame doing something more than trading and gathering peds.

On my worst hunts, i typically gain enough skills to cover about half the losses if i chose to sell those skills.

I don't have Commando or Kill Strike unlocked, though.

i've had runs where the value of my skill gains don't even make it for 25% of the total loss. and i mean runs of around 400-500 peds, which is not a huge run but not a 10 minute hunt either.
i have wounding, avoidance, etc.. and very close to combat sense.

there are times where you don't manage to get more loot than 40%-50% return in tt, and this is very very hard to compensate in skill gains. in the past, these returns were only typical from huge mobs, but today, you can get it from almost every mob.

Oh yes I'm very serious, even with an unlimited UL2 and no armor and FAP on exarosaurs u will still LOSE! And I did not just do 1 hunt, i did this for 3 or 4 weeks in a row a couple of months ago now.

It is gambling and it will always be, all you can do is adjust your payouts. But a casino will be mad to give you a payout above 100% You will lose a lot less on some Internet Casinos or big gambling places like Vegas, those place have a lot of competition and so the payouts will be higher. Usually around 95%-98% and not 60%-70% average like in EU.
So what I'm trying to say is you will lose less money in an actual casino with whatever gear u're gonna use !

Skills are not to be considered as too long term investment.

They are the comodity in EU that is only building up. Take for example:

An uber with 15k skills (all combat for example) - that is 8k PED in TT each

He can supply the market of following skills:

1) Rifle - ~28 days
2) Hand gun - ~20 days
3) MMS - ~40 days
4) Evade - ~4 mths
5) Dodge - indefinite (EU liftime sales = 3.5k ped)
6) Weap handling - 2.5 mths

And so on and so forth.

What does this mean (if someone is slow today)
Someone with 15k skills in (for example) RIFLE can supply the current market for 28 days ALONE - provided NOONE ELSE sells rifle skill at that moment.

Got it?
Dont ask me where did I get the info - just open one skillchip and look at history
