What does it take to unlock Marksmenship?

Just a quick question What does it take to unlock Marksmenship? I have read that you need level 10 in any ranged hit or dmg profession. I just hit lvl 10 blp pistoleer today and still have yet to unlock it.

Fire a few shots with the blp handgun and it will unlock

i unlocked it at almost level 11 rifle, just keep on training and you will get it.

You need to actually exercise the profession in question to unlock it, might take a few shots though if you chipped over the unlock point.

Maybe he hasn't chipped at all and just has had a good go at rifles and handgun. Perhaps you just haven't hit however many points you need in handgun. Wait, i'm thinkin of graduation. Sorry. =P

I believe skills unlock on the first skill increase (in the main skill i.e. handgun) after hitting the required professional standing.

Although this is just my understanding based on reading and not a direct observation of MMS unlocking.

An alternative theory is that you are eligable to recieve a MMS skill increase after hitting lvl 10 profession standing and you see the unlock when you recieve the first such increase

EDIT: I looked back at a screenie of my MMS unlock and it went...
