As the title sez, is Dodge worth the time and effort and PED to skill it up?
And what are some of the techniques to do so? Thanks in Advance. Dex ![]() |

You can get easy dodge from drones, there are low levels drones east of Jasons which are perfect for skilling with
. However if you dont like drones you could head to TI and have a scrap with some bristlehog . Want a bit more of a challenge then hunt down some Tezlapod or Trilomite . If you want to waste your time then head for some Tsk Tsk north of Osiri Hearts or find the Falx south of Oxford . Finally if you want to waste your PEDs there is always the Octagon .Well thats where to get dodge, as to whether its worth it is another matter. If you intend to go into PvP areas which I assume you do then you need to keep in mind that your dodge is going to be a lot lower than most people already there (and probably your hit average, range and damage too) so unless you luck out and stumble across a newb miner you are still gonna get shot to pieces if you cant tp out quick enough . Hope that helps and good luck in your adventures. |

I voted No, because of the specific way the question was put.
Is Dodge a good thing : YES Is it worth spending time and effort skilling it up : NO Is it worth buying Dodge skill : Possibly Up to the recent update, Dodge only came from Drones, Warriors, etc, and PvP, so it was possible to completely ignore it. Now, all the Electric mobs do Dodge rather then Evade, and so it has become more important to have. But deliberately skilling Dodge means neglecting Evade, which still remains more important, and so for most players the answer to the question should be No. Once you unlock Avoidance (which I haven't), you might have reached a level where you could compete in PvP, and so the answer might change after then. is it worth it? thats ur choice... i wouldnt go out soley to skill dodge, but i often enjoy some good old bot hunts.... so i'd just go hunting bots and keep a eye on the skillgains |
