He's trying a 10 ped chip and can only get 260 or some points on it? Obviously a 10 ped chip can store alot more than 260 points. But if he has used the TT tool to extract other skills, it will decay, and say it only has 1 ped TT value left, it can only extract X amount of points that 1 ped decay on the tool mean.

Yeah, i do understand, but this is simply wrong.

Once the inserter is too much decayed, it won't let you put the ESI in.

And, maybe read my posts, a 10 ped chip doesn't necessarily "store a lot more than 260 points"!

In fact, it stores a lot less at higher levels (see my example).

Ok, I thought it was different decay depending on how much skills extracted. I have had the same problem as the poster tho, and that time it was the inserter. I repaired it, and it worked to extract skills. If it was just a bug or the inserter, i dont know, but sure looks like that to me.

Rarely have I seen so much fail in a post.

The implant inserter doesn't decay upon extracting the skill. ALL it does is insert the implant, and the decay is the same regardless of whether it is a skill implant or otherwise. Once you insert it, you can just TT the inserter.

thanks everyone i managed to get it after long hours
3500 breaks down to the numbers belove
3500-3000<--need like 15-18ped esi to get this
3000-2500<---need like 10-30ped esi for this
2500-1700<---10-14ped esi for this
1700<--10ped esi did the job

its like reverse chipping
when it said 249 when i had 10ped esi i thought it ment 249skills but
it didnt it filled entore esi my change was 1pec i guess they changed it from the old ways to this ~~~
