Several people have estimated about $1,000,000.00 US to get to level 100.
Having had a play with the chipping optimiser I think about $500,000 in chips would easily do it for combat including dodge/evade and medical skills. This is what i could get for $1,000,000US: As you can see, many of the combat professions are well above the 100 level, so spending the huge amount of peds wasted getting from 100 to 145 in laser sniper (Hit) would help improve the others that are sub 100. I think $1million would max everything, especially if you ignored the (apparently) useless professions like scanning, taiming, etc. The only exception might be colouring. Now to win the lotto, and spend $1million on skills. |

You get better than max range on non-SIB weapons when you are over level 100, and many of the skills count for health. Also, at some point there may be SIBs above level 100.

That's true. I was thinking of weapons, and hadn't even thought about healing tools. I do believe that MA went and implemented the full range of healing tools because the existing lineup was due for a boost. Weapons were already more diverse, and mobs will need to be buffed up or added to give the full range of SIB in weapons a proper context. Then bigger amps, melee amps, etc.
With skill values all headed toward ESI price, that would be both silly and pointless. Skills are one of the only real commodities that we generate; everything else is prefabricated by MA. |

For me skills are as much prefabricated as loot is, anything really "generated" by the player would cause inflation. I am hitting 60k in skills soon, right now I have the feeling that my hunting skills rise faster than they did when i was below level 10. Need about 4 levels to unlock serendipity, but since I got my RDA unlock I did not really feel the need to level anymore. I did not see any great change in loot, only that a need a PED less to kill an Allophyl. Sure, it is great to use bigger guns, but in a team they are not really needed and those bigger guns costs quite more. In crafting it's another story, skilling there is painfull slow. But still.... Is there any rush for anyone to hit level 100 in any profession ? Just because some are already above ? |
