But with all of the new people that will come into the game with the addition of the new worlds etc, skill prices may actually go up as there will be less skills to go around. We will have to wait and see what happens. |

A good system should allow 100% of playerbase to be 100% maxed in their
skills. None should be able to get more than 99,9% efficient, in the influence skills has on our actions. ![]() I always said a good system always should do people less inefficient rather than more efficient when skilling up. Might look the same, but it isn't. ![]() |

I think AnnieStarr may have the answer - what if ESIs:
- could ONLY be crafted, and using a lvl 10 BP and the BP - costs 0.01 ped from the TT - is only cost effective to use when you have some nice crafting skills And you have to chip out using ESIs you made yourself. This would mean far less people would bother to chip out (because for most people it'd cost too much to make the ESIs), thus the supply of skills is less and prices stay up...... ![]() Last edited by ForrestPark; 05-13-2008 at 15:16. |

Maybe the answer is re-education. Maybe its time we admitted our skills wont be worth much and that's just the way it is. At least you can recover some peds for them. Though i will say that i believe if ESI's were avalible in the TT, skill prices would go up to make up the difference. Thing is hunters would then lose out on the markup, so its swings and roundabouts. |

I think if they implament skill decay ( by skill decay I mean the amount of skills decreasing along time if u dont pump them up by hunting/mining/crafting) most of players would just quit. What would be the point in skilling then. U would have to keep skilling not to loose all skills u have already gained? I think the most (including me) would prefer skills to be worthless rather than they decay. Stupid idea. The solution is to make skills usefull. To make them not worth chipping out. Because now they are useless and I explained it in my previous post in this thread. |
