running speed

ive just read a coment bout running speed and not being able to out run atrox any more, implying a nerf. now, only a week or so ago, i noticed i was out running (albeit slightly) a group of other well skilled avatars, many much higher skilled than I, and this occured to me: running speed depends on avatar size.

I have a large built avatar, many others have smaller or average build. The build affects leg length and therefore if the base run rate is the same but i have a longer leg, then i will move faster than those with shorter legs.

Last time i checked i can still out run an atrox too.

Interesting thoughts, i wonder what would happen if they implement drinks at the bars wow, it would be funny watching me run.........


Never really looked at how fast i run compared to mobs/others, will go and have a look. But thinking about it, after the remodelling i made myself small.......

Well Irl, a smaller person usually.. and just a thought out run a big fat american(sry). And tbh, I wouldn't see why not have it in EU aswell, doesn't sound something this engine would handle, but why not Cryengine?

It makes sense, but i wonder if it's true. Solaris did some pretty nice tests on running speed and the effect of weight on it, but i'm not sure if she ever included two different avatars

If it's true, it might make people rethink being midgets for the next landgrab.
