Wow Gingko, very nice thanks! I've just had a little play, looks like 20*2% for Intelligence on Scan Human and some other similar findings.

I've sent it to myself at home, hopefully I'll be able to get it working with my semi-Excel compatible spreadsheet software at home it'd be a very nice time-saver!

Now it goes quickly

I Suspect (very similar figures across all, but cannot test with second avi):

Intelligence * 20 = 2% on all Engineering professions except

Intelligence * 20 = 2.5% on Attachments and Electronics Engineers

(Tailoring & Carpentry miss too much other info)

Intelligence * 20 = 2% on all Investigator professions (nice match!) except

Intelligence * 20 = 1% on Mutant profession

OK, I have it working at home now. My software couldn't handle the lookups so I downloaded OpenOffice and that handles Excel files just fine.

Also I finally have spreadsheet software with data filtering......gonna have fun with my hunting records now

I probably won't have huge amounts of time for skill calculations until the weekend but I'll make it the priority for the weekend and see how far we can get with some of the other professions. I'll make a sticky for the results, by popular request.

For those who frequently the old pro-standing thread, whilst bored of Excel at work today I loaded up the old trial-and-error code and put the correct percentages in. I was running it with Agility*25 rather than *20 but with the error bounds I put in on the data that wouldn't stopped it from finding the correct result as a candidate. Turns out it was just 1 of the 20 data sets I was using that was lame, probably I could have found a way to filter out bad data somehow but ah well, we got there now anyway

Jimmy B, we're missing one important skill on your list: Inflict Ranged Damage! Do we have some data on that? I cannot solve for this one as well, as it is too much correlated with Agility which I suspect to be the attribute contributing...

... also started a separate thread for all the guesswork and correlations to come on the attributes, to keep this one on topic

Yes, I'm aware we haven't got an IRD yet. The estimate from Witte's thread is that its a 4% contribution but we'll need to confirm that with a chip at some point!

Armor Tech comes out as 11% of Armor Engineer.

I also chipped out Bravado and can confirm all the numbers except Teleporter and Animal Tamer. I never unlocked Animal taming so no help on that one, but on teleporter I showed no change. Are we sure on that 1.5%?

Thanks Erinome....I'll update shortly, and do the rechecking on Melee Combat and Bravado. Regarding the Teleporter issue, we were all rather surprised when it appeared to get a contribution from Bravado. I've since been keeping an eye on my skill gains when I teleport. I've not had any Bravado gains, although I have also only seen one Dexterity gain.

Shall report back in a bit!
