Taming Robots

Anyone else ever do this? Not with a whip and brush or anything, but for the skills. Wear a bot down to an inch of its life, then just heal and scan him. He gives up shooting at you after a couple minutes then just wanders around. I've gained tons of Electronics, Mechanics, Computer and scanning skills. After about 15 minutes, they must reboot or something and try to kill you again. I had a Gen 7 tamed for half an hour the other day.

soting some low lvl bots west of billys along with trax and faurfix.. and then all of a sudden i see a giant train of one guy dragging along like 20 or so drones 01-02

atm i didt understand it.. but later on


yeah mod and imp fap really gained some cheap dodge back in the days..

not sure if this actually constitutes taming, since it's basically just that the bot gets bored and determines you aren't a threat anymore. actually, nearly every beast in play will do the same thing, so i'm sure it isn't taming now that i think about it..

but, yes.. i've spent hours boring bots with a fap

true the system was redesigned to avoid afk fap skilling on mobs, they will lose interest and leave. also you wont get the same skillgains from it anymore as you used to. but probably a good thing
