1. if u have xp -> run entropia.exe in win2k-mode
2. set clientsettings in clientloader to 32-bit-resolution
3. play with setup from nrf (color readings)

As I just wrote you in PM, PEStats doesn't works anymore for sure for grabbing skills, at least since VU8.0 if not earlier.

Reporting it also here since it may help others who are trying to make it work :P

hi,

I am sure this is me being stupid, as that is has been discussed already (search did not find it though).
I notice that for some professions the total skills add up to over 100%.
For example the colourer profession is:

Agility 40%
Intelligence 60%
Dexterity 5%
Color Matching 20%
Coloring 47%
Coloring Methodology 14%
Fashion Design 6%
Glamour 3%

which is 195%.
I can understand that the quoted figure has been chosen as they show the correct ratio (or weight factor) of each sill in relation to the others, but I dont see how they really are percentages, as they add up to over 100%.

if it read
Agility 20%
Intelligence 30%
Dexterity 2.5%
Color Matching 10%
Coloring 23.5%
Coloring Methodology 7%
Fashion Design 3%
Glamour 1.5%

which is 97.5%, that would just show no one quite knows the exact figures needed to get 100% exactly.

SO my question really is, "why are some professions shown with skills where the percentages add up to over 100%?"

Dorsai, attributes are kinda normal skills divided by 5...

To outweight this, the percentages are multiplied by 5, thus the sum is >100%

Do a forum search for "Chipping thread", thats how we found out all the numbers, so it's more than just an educated guess...

I.e., Agility 20% is actually Agility*5 at 4%, which is mathematically the same as Agility: 4%*5, which calculates to 20%!

hi.
you have a slight mis understanding.
when it say x%, it is not x% of of the total skill, it is x% of the skill that is added to the base.

I e : you have a lvl 20 blp sniper, with 2k skill evrywhere
as rifle is accounted as 39%, the level you gain with rifle alone is 7.8 (2000*0.39) level of blp sniper

now, you gain suddenly 500 rifle , meaning you are at 2500 rifle
you now gain 9.75 (2500*0.39) level of blp sniper, resulting in a lvl of blp sniper of 20+ (9.75-7.8)=21,95 , so lvl 21.95 blp sniper.

look below, only skill i changed is rifle 2k=> 2,5k

There seems to be a problem in the Health calculation. I have 107 right now, and the tool says I have 108.09

the health calculations are not as accurate as the rest of the professions; however, the tool shows the latest public knowledge from the community (in the tool's instructions, there is a link to the thread where this subject is discussed).

having said that, the error you're observing for your avatar could be in fact very very small, since your actual health could be as high as 107.99, and you would still see 107. so, in your case, the error could be as small as 0.1 HP.

however, it is normal to have deviations up to 1 full HP and, as i said, this is a known issue.

Got 129 Hp last night, and did the check with your tool. it said 129.02 so i think it is very good.

as many people have already noticed, the site is unreachable at the moment

my hosting company has not renewed the domain name (as they should), and it has expired. it should be up soon, buy probably not during today.

i reminded them about the domain name renewal some days ago, to avoid any service disruption, but i guess that customer service sucks in most companies, not only MA
