i need screen captures of your skills (not the professions screens).
press k, select "all categories", and take a screen shot (in BMP format, very important) of all the 10/11 skill screens, zip'em, and send them to my email address (found in the chipping tool, under "instructions").

for those concerned about privacy of their ingame details (ped cards balance and such), press V first to hide the HUD info.

other than that, the only thing to consider is not to set the gamma values to extreme settings. i've found screens from people with a very dark monitor settings, which pump the gamma almost full way up, and this makes the screen almost useless.

Just wondering, where the user screen settings interfere ..would converting them to greyscale get round that I wonder, or at least help?

Batch converting them is easy to do with something like Irfanview and as it's free the user could do that ...it appears to be able to correct gamma too in batch conversion mode (if it's just the odd few that require adjusting). Couple of clicks operation to do a whole set, so not a chore.

thanks to timmers and rick (and the rest of people who sent screens but not posted here).

the program seems to progress pretty well and i'm almost done with the skill parsing, and i'm working now on the user interface.

still, i need more screens to double check all possible settings. i have currently over 250 screens, and i test the whole set every day with every change i make to the program, but i need more... c'mon, my gmail account is only 4% full if you want to make sure that your graphics settings are handled well by the definitive version of the program, now it's your chance to submit your screenies.

yes, it will be free (+donations accepted, if you find it useful); same model as the chipping tool.

but, if you really insist on a paid membership model, maybe i should think about it...


@immortal: i've received screenies from people with less than 5k total skills, and from people with close to 300k total skills, so i'm not easy to amaze and terrify anymore
