Did MA nerf the 'natural hp regeneration' ??

Hello all,

this morning I was out shooting some low level stuff ... no armor, no fap ...
After being hit a few times I checked my health (hits K) a few times.

Total hp = 123 atm

When I checked I had 35 hp left ... This is how I regenerated

35 then 41 ... Gained 6
41 then 47 ... Gained 6
47 then 52 ... Gained 5 ??
52 then 58 ... Gained 6
58 then 63 ... Gained 5 ??
63 then 69 ... Gained 6
69 then 74 ... Gained 5 ??
74 then 80 ... Gained 6
80 then 85 ... Gained 5 ??
85 then 91 ... Gained 6
91 then 97 ... Gained 6
97 then 102 .. Gained 5 ??
102 then 108 Gained 6
108 then 113 Gained 5 ??
113 then 119 Gained 6

Now I always thought that you regain 1/20 of your total hp every 20 seconds. If that statment was true I should have gained only sixes and maybe the odd seven (3x if I regenerated from dead to full again) ...

Anyone noticed something similar or am I missing something ?

Will have to check my own regeneration,
Some form or rounding error??

Or perhaps MA have used "Round to even" or some such, and it results in the odd heal being less than yoyu might expect?

Hmm

Could be something like that... I have 128hp and I was hit for 128.3 and still survived...

My point is, 1/20th of your health point would include that increment between "displayed" health and "actual" health, and thus show you 5, 6, 5, 6, 5, 6 etc to balance it out or something...

PE uses hp in decimals which we dont see (eg. 125.x)

this explain differences in rounded up figures

you never have a flat hp ... you always have e.g. 120.XX so if you get hit for 120.XX you still survive ...

My assumption is based on regenerating 1/20 of your total health so 123/20 is 6.something ... never 5

Strange indeed

That's correct Il ... However 120/20 equals 6

so if you have 120 or more hp, you shouldn't gain a 5.decimal anymore

I'm confused on this

I'm onboard with you, even if numbers are rounded it should never be less than six since you have over 120 in hp.

Were does this 1/20 of your total hp come from, MA? Or has people estimated it to be that? *noob*

huh, if only I knew ... I might be wrong but have heard it from Alice In Wonderland (a year ago when I started playing EU) ... me thinks Seven might have mentioned it as well to me ... but not sure about that

One should die and stop the time it takes to fully regenerate ... that would give an indication whether the 1/20 is true indeed ...
