It's a pain when that happens

Weapon Tech has a big effect on both hit and damage skills as I found out recently. In spite of only getting the damage bonus on the LP470, my BLP Sniper was going up almost as fast as my Ranged BLP. This is possibly because I chipped out all my BLPWT a while ago, and so BLPWT was the 'missing ingredient' that was holding the level back.

To balance it out you need to chip in something which is only damage related. As you've just unlocked RDA I'd suggest this. And as you only have a few points in that skill the chip will give you more points than if you already had 3k for example.

Also is anatomy important for handgun skilling as its got to do with body parts and how they function???
Handgun improves your HIT profession only (~40%)... And not your DMG profession.
LWT improves both HIT and DMG professions, and Anatomy only DMG.

Since you mostly chipped Handgun, you got a big difference between HIT and DMG prof levels.
If this is a problem for you, you just have chip some more LWT which gives more DMG (~25%) than HIT (~15%), or chip more Anatomy which gives only DMG I think. (Can't remember the % atm).
Hmm.. Or you can chip out some of your HG, to make the prof levels more balanced

There's a lot of stuff to read, so use search if you wanna know more about how it all works.

My RDA is around 377 at the mo so lets say i chick RDA some and LWT some and Anatomy some as one of the posts mentioned what you reckon should balance things out

I would say that should definitely narrow the gap. One of the problems of chipping is what you seem to have encountered. It kind of throws things out of balance.

See now i got a few stats of guys ingame pistoleer's levl 32 and lvl 25 and theese were there stats compared to mins im lvl 24

Pistoleer LVL 32

LWT = 4573
Anatomy = 4421
RDA = 3476
Handgun = 4028


Pistoleer LVL 25
LWT = 3234
Anatomy = 3584
RDA = 1520
Handgun = 2216


Me LVL 24
LWT = 3867
Anatomy = 3118
RDA = 326
Handgun = 3778



So by looking at that and comparing myself to the other 2 who havnt chipped my RDA needs boosting and my anatomy could do with around 600 to 700 points and things should balance out what you think theory sounds and look spromising or na?

Yes that will help. Also keep playing with the chipping optimizer I know it cna be confusing to start but you will understand it more whne you start using it. For example look at ranged laser damage and find out what to chip to get your damage level up to you laser pistol hit level.

Hi gents

I chipped RDA and ANATOMY and the hit ability and critical hit ability has evened out now not any more on Breer p5a Scroff21 and HL6 all evened out saying not any more thats a good thing finally.

now

LWT = 3898
Anatomy = 3848
RDA = 2799
Handgun = 3818

But when i check non L pistols it says

Hit ability 2.5
critical hit ability 5.0

How can that be balanced out, By boost anatomy and rda more?

Also what numbers should the above 2 be reading when you can or are able to use non L pistols effectively or efficiently.

If by "balanced" you mean to have about the same numbers in hit ability and critical hit ability, it's not possible for non L weapons:
critical hit ability = square root (hit ability * 10)

Then, only at 0 they are identical (and 10 of course when you are at max).

The problem is to define efficiently, if you mean to max them, you'll need to reach level 100. If so, be ready to spend many thousands of $.
You'd need to have about 12000 in those 4 skills (maybe more, i'm too lazy to count )

So your saying im even with the numbers now 2.5 and 5.0 is about right for a non L pistol at this stage
