skills, what for?

now think a bit before there was (L) weapons and you had enough cash you just maxed out opalo and than maxed out weapon you wanted to use...

So what the hell are now people maxing out for example ISIS than Geotrek and blah blah... why not just use some damn non (L) weapon from beginning and skill with it?

Now think, I have VAT-100 is there any need to skill before using it?
I dont think so, I can just max it right out by using it so I will be dealing max damage with it.
What is your opinion?

wrong your hit ability on a vat 100 will be very low and on an L weapon it could be 10/10 so the L werapon is better, Your are right you can max out trhe vox 100 but it will take about 5 years and lots of peds

You are missing something

Notice the Hit ability(HA) and Critical Hit you have on the VAT100

HA in short determines how often you will hit the target, imagine how that efects how well you can use the weapon

To use a non-limited weapon effectively you need 10k in average skills which makes you do 50% min dmg, 10 hit and 10 crit.

Or level 100 in for example blp sniper.

L-weapons don't need such high requirements.

The only exceptions to this are the non-limited weapons that are modified versions of (L)-weapons. Like Emik S30 instead of Emik S30 (L). These weapons have lower requirements but they cost a lot too which is kind of obvious since they are extremely good to use if you look to the economy.

The maxing of a weapon is not related to if you use the weapon itself or not. It's related to your skills only.

Using (L)-guns or other 50% min dmg guns is way more economic than using non-L weapons that are originals.

well obviously its your peds, I would not personally recomend someone uses UL weapons unless they somewhat have skills to use it. That being said, I'm not gonna use L guns untill I have 10k in skills, I do use UL weapons, just because its not always easy or ped card friendly to buy a L gun to get 10/10.

Use the {L} guns, you should or will skill faster on them. I think

L weapons also come with SIB(skill increase bonus) so that you can raise you skills more quickly. THe recommendation that I have been given is that you should leave the big UL guns alone until you unlock at least combat sense. THat unlock comes at level 50. Think about using a UL gun that you will miss at 15-20% of the time at 10 plus ammo in comparison to a L gun that you will miss at a rate of 8% of the time. If you have ped to waste go with the UL gun it certainly will be more fun but you will pay for that fun in ped. If you hunt economically your ped will last much longer.
