chipping (out) question

My wife and I have a couple of new babies and we've decided to put all her avatars skills into mine, as she can't play very often anymore. she has just over 3k handgun, but after the chip is inserted she can only put like 290 onto the chip. Does the recently unlocked RDA have to be chipped out in order to go more on the handgun? any advice is appreciated we'e not done any chipping out and only 1 chip in so I'm confused.

No, its cus the chip is too small . To fit 3k skills youll need a 30pedish chip. So go buy a 50+ ped chip, chip the handgun out, and youll get a 20 ped esi back that you can sell. If you have less than 10 ped TT left on the chip after chiping out, youll get pure peds instead of a small esi back... and thats not really great business.

What is the size of the ESI you are using? You'll need one around 33ped i think.

my advice would be to chip the rda out first but about the only being able to remove 269 lvl this is because the more skills u have the higher the tt needed chip out those skills

so

10ped tt chip can roughly remove/insert 2k skills

at 3k skills u will need about 30 peds of esi to remove the skill maybe 1 a bit bigger

so at 3k skillz ur esi can only remove 269 lvl but then another esi of the same size would then be able to remove say 600 lvls then then the next one mgt take the final 2k skillz

You buy a biggish empty chip, then when you chip out you lose about 10% of the skills in the transfer. If you don't fill the chip, you wind up with a skill chip and a new, smaller empty chip.

Is that right on? Or is there more to it than that. And the 10% loss part... is it always 10%, or 'give or take' or....?

if u buy a 15 ped chip and use 2ped of the esi u get that 2 ped esi and a 13 ped esi back

if yu buy a 15ped esi and use 5.01pedof the esi you would get the5.01 ped esi back and 9.99 peds back


wen u use a esi if the tt value goes uder 10 ped after chipping out u get peds if it over 10ped tt you get a esi back

and i would persme it excactly 10%

Thats not correct, you'll get a filled 1.80 ped TT esi back, because you loose 10% of the skills (and thus, 10% of the filled ESI) on chipping out!

Just enter your skills, it does all the calculation needed for chippin in&out!
