That's why I have to take some heavy shit with me each time I make a tp run with a disciple, because it's very boring to stop every 10 seconds and wait for another 10 . And I have only 62 agility.

We should arrange a race, and see how closely relative avatar agility correlates with actual speed differences. With completely empty-handed avatars, I mean...maybe other things affect speed than just agility.

Those noobs are the easiest mobs to run away from! Even with my current gility in the 30s I notice that. They loot bad though, I recommend staying away

I chanced to meet Faustian yesterday, and we arranged a race. I knew he'd be faster, as he had double my strength and 126 agility vs. my 84. I just wanted to know how much faster he was, functionally. It's one thing to measure this using a stopwatch and recording times down to the millisecond, but another to see in visual terms how much difference there is.

We hooked up in Jason, for a run to the outpost to the North from the TP. (We didn't use stopwatches.) Faustian weighed in at 140 kg, I was overweight so I shed some ammo until I was 139.9 kg. We didn't have someone fire a starting pistol, as I wanted to see how quickly I would be overtaken. So I asked Faust to start running, the instant I started running (that would give me a little head-start, due to human reaction time and of course, in-game lag). So, I took a big breath, then off I went!

I expected Faust to pass me within seconds, but it actually took maybe 10 seconds before he came up beside me, and slowly but surely edged past. I'd guess he was going maybe 10% faster, maybe less, but I'd enjoy Faust to post his first-hand impressions too. He reached the outpost and waited, and I arrived maybe 3 or 4 seconds later. TBH, I was expecting him to vanish into the horizon, but it seems that the difference between 84 agility and a noob's 0 is more than just twice as fast as the difference between 84 and 126. Maybe there's a curve and speed increase lessens at the higher agility levels.

At any rate, it was a fun test! I'd like to thank Faustian for his time, and it would be fun to test again with avatars of equal intervals between their agility rating (i.e. 1, 42, 84, 126). Any of you avatars have 42 agility approx? We could always grab a mango from Nooblantis for a few PEDs...
