Help: Starting New Society - Soc members earn PED (read more)

I've been a freelancer for a while now, mostly because I did my own thing, also because I was kicked out of HU :P

Anyway, I am looking to start a new society, the role of the society is a bit different...the way I like things.. Anywho.. read on:

Society Name: None yet, am thinking of Entropia Expanders

Society Function: To expand the playerbase of Entropia Universe, to get the word out about the 'game'

The roles of the persons who join my society will be those of Blog posters, article writers, video producers etc. I will then use my own time/money outside of EU and work to expand it.

Right now there is a video competition. I am offering I think 20-30k ped in prizes and really havent seen much of a response by the community. Perhaps it's because I am not a really trusted member of the community - although I have several people who would vouch for me when it comes to returning loaned items (mostly 20-50kped worth of stuff, like BP's).

I was going to start a blogging competition, but as I've seen IRL, its easier for people to get into something when they know how much they'll make rather than risk a %.

Anyway, the people who join my soc will have to be active in writing articles, posting blogs and creating videos.

Payments as follows:

Blog posts: 10-50PED per post depending on quality.
Article submissions: 10-500PED per depending on quality.
Video submissions: 100-5000PED per depending on quality.
Graphic/Web designers: 100-10000PED depending on quality. (please note mostly need banners done etc.. I have a fulltime photoshop pro at my office but I have him working on more lucrative projects)

This will be a daily arrangement. I guarantee I'll want more articles than any one person can produce in a month.

go ahead, think what you want. Everyone that knows me personally knows how I am.. I am not a reseller in the term of what you're inferring, If i decide i dont want a certain gun or whatever and choose to resell, whats wrong with that?

I pump thousands of peds into the lootpool daily, and I never get that back in ped, always in BP's etc.. so the loot is still out there, or already given to another player.

I deposit so much money into this game, I am not one of your people that deposit $50 and now have 500kPED of value, although I hold no ill or any slight bit of anger/hostility towards them.

Nowadays, I give lots of players good deals on amps etc, and i've helped atleast 10 newbs who asked for advice and got 2-3kPED of gear to start them on hunting/mining.

I know Sammy has taken flak on this forum over a number of issues, but anyone who offers actual employment in this twisted economy deserves to be heard.

I think it's cool, but I'm guessing alot of people (like me) aren't interested in leaving their current society.You should maybe just put up a website where people can join, and work from that. I think you'd get MANY more people on board that way.

That sounds like an interesting opportunity you will be providing for people.

It seems like there would be many people interested, but having to quit their current society to join yours in order to submit articles and videos to be paid might make some hesitate.

Is there an option to submit work to you without having to be a member of your society?
