FYI: Introducing the NBK Entrepreneurs

On Monday, January 5th 2009 The NBK Group launched a new society of a different type called the NBK Entrepreneurs. Like the others, the society is a Natural Born Killers subsidiary society; it exists alongside the existing skill structure system within the other subsidiary NBK societies.

The NBK Entrepreneurs is for people who are treating the Entropia Universe like a business and not like a game. Examples are Traders, Pilots, Shop Owners, Land Owners, Investors, Beauticians, Stylists, Sculptors, website owners, and people who are involved with business ventures of various types.

Members of the NBK Entrepreneurs will be held to the same standards with regard to treatment of other players both in the NBK Group and with people in the Entropia Universe. Members will be expected to maintain honest dealings with people, those who cannot or do not do this will be ejected from the society. People who trade in an honest and ethical way act as a powerful stabilizing force in the Entropia Universe economy, they inevitably end up reducing the average price of items that are overvalued and increase the average price of items that are undervalued. Furthermore, traders act as a “buffer” in the EU economy which helps to prevent a total market crash during slow times. Introducing honest and ethical traders to the EU community is among the goals of the society.

The end goal of the NBK Entrepreneurs is to build an “Economy of Scale” inside the NBK Group as a whole. The NBK Entrepreneurs will serve to augment and compliment the greater NBK Group where the original plan, strategy, and vision are being followed.

If you feel that this kind of society would be a good fit for you, or if you have a business proposal that you would like us to review, please send a private message to me here on the Entropia Forum. If you have a business proposal that involves the participation of the NBK Group as a whole then your idea might be reviewed by the NBK Council which contains all the leaders of the NBK Societies.

We believe that the best way to participate in the Entropia Universe is to invest, build a business, and if you choose, fund your in-game activities through profits earned in-game. We are looking for competent, intelligent, and capable people who have a solid business plan along with the wherewithal and fortitude to get it done.

Now this sounds interesting. I'm somewhat interested in joining this society since my current society is ok, and a bunch of nice folks, but most of them are in different parts of the world than I am, and I've slowly started entering trading a lot more lately... with my affiliation with efd growth fund, STTS, U.B.E.R., and a few other trading partners. This could be something interesting since you could get a lot of traders in the same society, so they could use soc. chat to set up deals and what not... currently one big headache with S.T.T.S. and U.B.E.R. has been getting people together - which we've been doing via friends lists, ef social groups, and team chats.. but not usually soc. chats since we are all mostly in different societies. I do think there is a place in game for traders, and am learning more and more about trading as time goes onward... One thing you DO NOT want to do is get a lot of scammer resellers in here since it will lead to a bad rep for the whole society.
