At your level, 10 ped of ammo will give you a good half hour or so hunting smaller mobs, so you might want to sweat until you have 10 peds worth, hunt, cash the loot in and see how far you can make each 10 ped last before you have to sweat again. This will build skills nicely too. I recommend sweating that little bit more and getting a tt shortblade or an Axe 2x0; they only cost decay and can be charged up in pecs when you have very little cash; and can help you get home happier. (knife=cheap finisher, axe 2x0= noob panic weapon )Oh, hunt young berycleds and you won't go far wrong. Hurrikane |

Hi and welcome ot EU/EF!
If you plan on getting a mentor then you should prolly check really quick if you still can. You just need very few skill points and in game mentoring closes for you. It seems though that you already have an idea on how you want to play and progress, which is very good, great time now to find a mentor who will really be able to help you planning your game strategy. Also, if you plan on taking a mentor I would wait with goint out for hunts - if you burn 10 PEDs worth of ammo you'r skills will be too high to get a mentor. (shameless plug: check http://eu-mentor.info for a list of great mentors) I agree with Hurrikane, I'd also advise to sweat until you get between 10 and 20 PED and then grab ammo and hunt, then back to sweating again. Although I'd recomment Daikibas and Snablesnots to begin with, Berycleds are a bit tough if you dont have any skills yet. Also, don't expect to finance further hunting through loot - if you get nice loot then that's great, but be prepared to sweat for every single PEC you need for ammo and decay. |

I believe passing 20 skill points is the point of no return as far as acquiring a mentor goes. I've heard that hunting gets you more skill points faster than sweating, so if you really want a mentor, wait until after you get one before trying out the hunting.
